We came here for my husband's birthday. Our hostess, Victoria was personable and made it a very pleasant experience. Our waitress, Nicole, was fantastic as well. The food was very good. Steaks were great and the Neva potatoes were wonderful. Highly recommend this place!

Nice little old time place with really nice owner. Old time steamer used to make some delicious sandwiches. Fresh sliced meat. Good fair prices. Definitely recommend giving a tried unless you need fancy upscale place. No bathroom in deli itself but near in parking area.

Crockett's 1875 Breakfast Camp brings all the familiar comforts of the campsite right into downtown Gatlinburg. We've got Cathead Biscuits bakin', Griddle Cakes fryin' and even Moonshine Sausage with Hen Fruit!
Went here on the recommendation of a friend. Warning: Come hungry. Portions are large and the griddle cakes are huge. I didn't know a griddle cake was just that... a cake! Not a thin pancake... this was like a cross between cornbread and a pancake and it was delicious with butter and syrup. My husband and I probably should have split one but... we went later in the day, around 11am, and had no problem getting seated. Service was fast and friendly.

Please follow the link to our website for details. We are a small BBQ restaurant located about 3.5 miles from town, we are just inside the city limits. We are so blessed to have people love us so much, to hunt us down and let us feed them! Thanks so much
We showed up after a long wet hike starving. The owner & his wife welcomed us in even though they had just closed. The chicken breast sandwich was amazing. My husband loved the ribs & my son enjoyed the pulled pork. The owner entertained us with bear stories while we waited for our food. We will return.

Perhaps nothing is more illustrative of this than the way in which the staff graciously adjust to their mistakes. We had made it clear that my wife cannot eat cheese and this was accommodated at all times, except on the one evening in which they served scalloped potatoes (which contain cheese) with their prime rib. We noticed that they were late with our main course serving. We were seated near the kitchen and had not been served at the point in the line at which we had been. We guessed that they were scrambling for another side dish when my wife commented that they should just bring the dish with extra green beans. No sooner had she said that than they had done so. I am sure they did not have a "bug" at the table, so this was an example of anticipating our desire, while making an adjustment. One other thing particular to our case, was when cheesecake was the dessert, they could have easily brought out one of their previous desserts or could have even brought some cookies or brownies, which at the time were in the library that weekend. Instead, they brought a fruit medley they had made especially for her.Again, I focus on the small details because these are so often missed at hotels and inns that are not of the highest quality. You cannot do better than to stay at the Buckhorn Inn, and I don't mean just in Gatlinburg. That is an understatement. You would have to travel the world as we have, and you will only find a few places that are as excellent as this inn.Thank you so much for this lovely review. We strive to attend to the details for our guests--thank you for letting us know you were pleased with our service. We look forward to the next time we can welcome you back.

Tennessee Jedâs just earned my acclaim for absolutely standing-out in a crowded field of Southern BBQ joints. Here in the South, where BBQ is considered an offering from Heaven, and generally available on almost every corner of every city, it can be difficult to differentiate one joint from another. However, Tennessee Jedâs in Gatlinburg is doing something very unique, and uniquely well. Save a bit of culinary capacity when visiting Gatlinburg, because you donât want to miss a chance to experience what Melissa, Chris and Henderson are creating over there. They have a Reuben sandwich that is created in a similar fashion of a typical BBQ brisket, but as the name implies, using a brined (Corned beef) brisket. YUM. Imagine the barked exterior of a slow-cooked traditional BBQ brisket, combined with the succulent âCornedâ component of a traditional Corned beef cut. Confused just a bit, so too will your taste buds become when you take the first bite of this magnificent creation. They deserve a Nobile Prize for their creativity and success with this sandwich. The menu also includes a ridiculously delicious and tender turkey breast that is carefully crafted onto its own delightful cacophony of goodness. The BBQ sauce is richly delicious, the desserts made on-premise by Melissa every day. I am told, but have not yet verified, that the mornings breakfast fares, including biscuits and gravy, are equally âto-die forâ. Canât wait to get back there to validate this too! BTW- even the salads are a respectable blend of crisp fresh mixed-greens and done with the same commitment to excellence as the remainder of the menu. Oh, and Melissa grows and collects her own herbs, hand-picked with her daughter EVERY DAY before heading to Tennessee Jedâs to make another days patrons tickled-pink to have the opportunity to experience this establishments great offerings. Go to Tennessee Jedâs, youâll be happy you did!

Locally-owned and operated restaurant serving southern home cooking in a little log cabin. Breakfast all day, homemade Chili, and soup. Variety of sandwiches, burgers and hotdogs. All made to order. Daily Specials. **NO LARGE GROUP SEATING** Parties of 6
Great little place!Very small inside. We sat outside and it was just delightful. We both had burgers and they were delicious. Only complaint could be that the lemonade was odd - almost too sweet. But the ambiance and the food more than made up for that!
