This place is amazing, mostly for their hash browns and their ridiculous sized portions. For maybe a buck more than you would pay at some chain, you receive wonderful fresh omelets and amounts of potatoes not to be believed. All wonderfully prepared and seasoned. The waitresses are both kind and funny and I have yet to see anyone (including myself...220lbs and six feet tall) leave without a leftover container. Their breakfast will feed you for the day. Have never seen breakfasts as good anywhere else.

This place caught me by surprise. Iâm not sure what I expected but I was really glad we dined here. I had the Walleye sandwich with a salad. Service was great and our waitress was really attentive. The salad was served on a really nice and cold plate to keep the iceberg lettuce crisp. While the salad was simple it did the job. The sandwich was great. Really crispy fish. I ordered the cheesecake for dessert. This was an amazing decision. One of the best slices I have ever had. It was SO good! The waitress will drop off your check. Just take it to the counter to pay (donât forget to leave a tip!). Iâd totally go back.

Iâve been to Applebeeâs before & Iâve ordered their Thai Shrimp salad before. The hostess that seated me was cheery and friendly enough, but my waitress was just okay. It felt like once she knew I wasnât going to order a drink then it was just short business talk. My food arrived quickly. I forgot to ask for the dressing on the side and the salad was soaked in it.

The location of this bar/billiards room is near Columbia Heights - so the table sitting next to you likely has occupants that were recently released from prison (as seen in the recent stabbing that took place there). The entire establishment smells of stale beer and vomit - be prepared for this upon entry! The bartenders are very SLOW and depressed looking. If you're idea of a good meal is spending $25 for a plate of appetizer wings, this is definitely a place for you.

We went to Broadway pizza on the recommendation of a friend. Had the meat lovers large thin crust. So good! My child even ate some and he doesn't like meat. We definitely would eat there again.loved the train that runs throughout the restaurant - great ambience an nostalgia.

Super fun German festival with music, games, costumes and oh the food. I was very pleased with the quality and creativity of the choices. So many delicious items; mini Rueben, sausages, fried pretzels, plus Giant pans of paella. Good beer options too. Next year I'm dressing Deutsch.

Burgers are great. Waffle fries are a must with me. Flat iron steak is a great value and my buddies love it! Went once for breakfast and was a little disappointed. Wait staff and barkeepers are friendly and prompt. People watching is interesting. Pull tabs are fun. I have even played Bingo, but since I am very new to that I really don't know what they are looking for when they start the games....I wish they had a board or something to tell what they were looking for. The guy next to me was helpful, though. Good neighborhood atmosphere and folks of all ages.Thank you for your great review. We really appreciate the feedback you have given. I am sorry to hear you did not have a good experience with your breakfast visit. I hope you stop in again and give it a try.

I stopped because it was right off of I 694 and Central Ave. The fried chicken dinner comes with two sides and Texas toast. I ordered mashed potatoes and broccoli medley. The chicken is a half chicken, four pieces for a very reasonable price. Service here is very friendly. Everything tasted great.

On recommendation from our efficient and friendly waitress Sydney, I ordered the Bacon Avocado Benedict with American fries. It was outstanding- the avocado sauce was a little spicy - I loved it !!!! My husband had the blueberry pancakes. They were delicious too. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast!

It was the second Golden Age of the 20th century. The Great Depression and World War II had given way to years of great growth and prosperity. Babies were âbooming,â Eisenhower was in the White House, and Sinatra ruled the airwaves. In Americaâs best rest
We happened upon Crooner's after seeing Mick Sterling at the Dakota. We discovered that one of his singers was doing a tribute to Amy Winehouse-which we went to see at Crooner's. It was excellent. This weekend we went to the Sintra tribute with Andrew Walesch-Amazing show. We have only had drinks when we went to the shows but people around us had the prime rib meal. WOW -what a plate of food. Drinks were very cool-like a keylime martini. Tickets were very affordable for both shows-$20-35. We are going to another show in the next two weeks-Soul tribute to three women singers. We love the Dakota, but Crooners is a great alternative. Many of the bands/shows go back and forth between the two, so if you miss it one you might catch it at the other. I haven't been able to make it to Vegas in a year but I have a great local venue at a third of the price. Catch a show, have drinks and dinner and you will have a wonderful time.
