Visited French Lick over the Labor Day weekend. Spotted this place during a drive around town, and pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. She recommended drinks, and even gave us suggestions on what food to order. I ordered the pulled pork, and my boyfriend ordered shrimp. Both were delicious. This restaurant offers a lot of options, so don't be fooled by the sports bar appearance. Great sushi options too as well. I highly recommend this place.

We had salads, pizza, and crab cakes. To much filler in the crab cakes. The atrium was beautiful and we had piano music.

Named to commemorate May 17, 1875, the date of the first Kentucky Derby, French Lick Springs Hotel's signature restaurant is located adjacent to the main lobby. Bask in an elegant atmosphere with an open kitchen, overlooking our scenic gardens and iconic
We were staying at the West Baden Springs hotel but decided to make reservations here for a dinner. What a disappointment, and this was to be a special occasion. Although the dining room wasn't that busy, service was slow and haphazard. Our semi-circular table was located with an aisle on either side. When our salads arrived the server brought them down the wrong aisle - but instead of walking around to the front of our table she just handed them in to us from the back - over my shoulder! A few minutes later a server arrived with two main courses, but they didn't belong to us - so he picked them back up and took them to another table. When OUR main courses arrived one of us got the wrong side dish - completely different than what was ordered. And my companion's fillet, on a cold plate, was delivered very rare instead of medium-well as ordered. He sent it back (surrounded by red drippings), and it was returned still pink. He showed it to the server who again apologized and said "no, that's certainly not medium rare" but by now I was more than half done with my meal so my companion went ahead and ate what he could. When we got the check the server noted that the $40+ fillet had been removed. Yes, that was called for and appreciated...but frankly our experience was one of the worst we've ever had in a "fine dining" establishment. A typical "Bob Evans" restaurant would have provided a better evening.Greetings Dan G -- Thank you for your review. We apologize for failing to meet your expectations and, frankly, our own expectations. We welcome ways to improve and all reviews are shared with our management teams so we can understand and take necessary steps to get better. We thank you for being our guest at the French Lick Resort and we hope you will be our guest again so we can provide you a better experience.

Timeless in its beauty and stylishness, Sinclair's offers an impressive dinner menu and wine list. This restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner for two, or a celebratory dinner for many. Named after Lee W. Sinclair, one of the original owners of West
Another couple joined my wife and I for a great dinner. We enjoyed excellent service and an elegant setting for a fine, fine dinner. The waiter suggested the lamb shank which was mouth watering delicious. The shank was large a cooked to perfection. My wife had the cioppino which looked wonderful. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of our dinner. On a separate note we stopped for a drink in the lobby bar before dinner. Aa wonderful as our dinner was, the opposite was true of this adventure. The service was terrible. It was unacceptably slow and the drinks were not as ordered. This beautiful setting needs managerial help now.
