We have been at several Fridays like New Orleans, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo.And I have never been so dissapointed as this time. Fridays used to be one of my favorite restaurant, but the one in Fredrikstad ruin this impression for me.They have now changed the menu so the favorite for some of us was not on the meny any more. It took a preetty long time from order, until we get the meal. (But the restaurant was very crowded, so perhaps better on a calmer day.)My rib was good but since the whole plate was coverd i sauce it was very messy to eat. They have small cups for fries and salat that stood in this sauce, so we could not take they off the plate to get a little more room on the plate. And we was not offered any other plate to put the finished bones after eaten the meat. (I think we used to get the sauce in a separat cup on other Fridays?)The coca cola was almost without bubles, it was like drinking brown chilled water, at NOK 65 pr person. I also think the was way too little fries for this big rib.The waiters was very nice and polite and that was what give the restaurant 3 stars instad of 2.We have waited a long time to get a Fridays in Fredrikstad, so maybe our expectation was too high. Maybe we tries one more time since it is in our hown town? Maybe not.

Everything as you would expect but why is the food nearly always Luke warm? Good choice, helpful staff who do and will speak English but nothing seemed to be all that hot except for the coffee.

Vi bestilte vår første pizza herfra under åpnings-uken og den smakte fantastisk! Dessverre har pizzaene aldri vært i nærheten av dette i ettertid. En gjenganger er at bunnen ikke er bra, nå sist smakte den som seig papp. Har hele tiden levd med en naiv drøm om å få samme gode pizza som under åpnings-uken når de hadde hjelp fra kjeden sentralt, men nå gir vi opp. Prisen er også høyere enn tilsvarende steder.

It is a huge restaurant. We tried four different dishes, and all enjoyed the Food which arrived quickly. The service was better than other Egon restaurants I have tried. It is a very famiyfriendly and informal restaurants With a huge menu where everybody will find something they like to order.

Looking for a good barbeque/grill restaurant? The opening of KÃL in Fredrikstad marks a new era for the local carnivores. At present (July 2019) I have only tried burnt ends and mixed barbecue (spareribs, pulled pork, beef short ribs and prime brisket), and they both exceeded my expectations. One should of course expect tasty and tender meat at such a restaurant, and KÃL delivers! I will also mention the sauces, and a VERY nice corn dip. Even the fries tasted better for some reason. And finally â the Key Lime Pie⦠(speechless). Add to that a very nice atmosphere, the brand new premises and an enthusiastic, service-minded and competent staff - you get an overall excellent experience. I will be back! Highly recommended!

Centrally located in Fredrikstad this gem of a burger joint appeared. Rustic, yet modern and stylish interior. Not too big, and well visited. Service was friendly and efficient. The menu had a good selection of burgers and a good selection of local beer. Non alcoholic options of drinks as well that would go well with burgers. The burger were incredible juicy with lovely selections of sides on the menu. I loved the Deep Blue with the parmesan fries on the side.
