Made from scratch restaurant with both lunch and weekend brunch offerings. Lunch includes huge sandwiches made from our house-roasted meats, homemade soups, and wonderful specialty sandwiches. Catering available for small and large groups.
Went with a group of friends for lunch and we got there at about 11 on a Wednesday & got seated immediately. Not long after that though the whole place completely filled up. The food was great & the menu has a bunch of options. I had the turkey Stacey with fries. It was delicious! We got a side of their dill dip which was so flavorful & went great with the fries. The ice cream topped cookie is totally worth the calories! Itâs so warm & gooey & big enough for sharing. I will definitely go back, there are tons of other things I would like to try on the menu. Only complaint was the tea was very strong, but some people like it that way.

Casual upscale dining in a hip atmosphere. Menu is eclectic and well diversified with selections from fresh fish to beef so tender you can can cut it with a fork.
I stayed 10 nights in Fort Smith on business and this was my favorite meal. A small little restaurant in a building that once served as the Western District Courts of Arkansas (which was horribly corrupt). The food was phenomenal. I highly recommend the Hickory Candied Bacon (as long as you like sweets). Service was excellent with a small party.

While staying with my dad during a recent hospital stay in Fort Smith he recommend Ed Walkers for lunch. He said the restaurant has been around for a long time and is always good. Four of us went and snagged the last table. We had burgers, onion rings and French dip sandwiches. The food was really good and we all enjoyed our lunch. The onion rings were thin and I found them a bit greasy but they were ok. The French dip was tender and one of our favorite choices.

Doe's Eat Place is the premier place for Steaks and has one of the largest selections of wine in the area. Doe's is located in the historic Joseph Knoble's Brewery which is on the national historic registry and was built in 1848.
We recently took our nephew to Doe's, prior his departure for basic training in the Marines. We thoroughly enjoyed it, as always. Afterwards, we agreed it will now be a new "send off" tradition when he is home. Love the unique environment, excellent steak and shrimp, and exceptional service. A must "go-to" place in Fort Smith. Better than in Northwest Arkansas, and one of the top two or three places to eat in the area. Be sure to go hungry, and enjoy!

Stopped in here to watch some football and get something to eat. Good atmosphere, lots of TV's, and good service. We sat at the bar and the barmaid was very nice, attentive and friendly. Lots of beer choices. We had burgers & fries which were very good. A really nice place to catch some sports and have some tasty food.
