We used to love this place, but the food seems to have gone down hill.. not sure if it's a manager change or menu change or something else. Fries were way to salty, a few favored menu items have dropped, and the mac and cheese tasted like the milk had soured. Hopefully this last visit was just an anomaly in an otherwise decent place to eat. Thank you for taking the time to write your review and share this experience. We are very disappointed to read your review because it seems that we have missed your expectations on recent visits. We take your comments very seriously and will be using them to review our practices with the staff. Thank you for you comments and we hope to remedy these experiences for you in the near future.

I expected alot more. The donuts where average just like every other place. Nothing blew me away. I appreciate one of a kind places but this was average. Staff was great and friendly. But of what we bought and the flavor it was over priced.

We heard about this place, decided today we wanted a good burger and decided to give it a try. We got there about 5pm so not busy and were greeted promptly when we walked in. I ordered the Swiss mushroom burger with onion rings, hubby ordered the Hawaiian Spicy burger with seasoned fries, and a side of 8 wings (4 honey bbq/4 sesame asian), and two sweet teas. Everyone working in the place was very pleasant, and our wait wasn't that long. The food looked delicious and tasted even better. I had read reviews saying the fries were always cold but not the case for us. The fries (steak fries I might add) were fresh and hot, the onion rings great, the burgers very thick and nicely done, and the wings really good. For all that food, and it was a lot, had to get a couple of to go boxes, the cost was $40. This is not a fast food joint, it is a good burger restaurant. We will definitely be coming back.

Going to a chain restaurant is always a gamble. Usually depends on how good the management is. Here the servers were active, engaging, and efficient. Wife and I went fir a quick bite of cheese fries (we are the self proclaimed experts) and they were very good. Hot, fresh, with enough toppings. All in all, a nice visit with an old friend.

Had an Atlanta business person visit our Forney company and he wanted Texas BBQ. I suggested Soulman's and he said yes. I had the chopped beef sandwich with sides. He had sliced brisket & sausage plate with sides. All was yum. Good sauce with a zing finish on the tongue. Meat for BBQ has gotten pricey and shows in the pricing. Ouch. Can't do this budget every day, but maybe once in a couple months will do. But that's me. Nice folks and enjoyed lunch very well.

Usually Chick-Fil-A is a great place to go. But, for some reason, this one was not up to the standard we expect. The breakfast was a bit cold, it took too long, and they didn't have any butter for our English muffin. Nice people, but poor execution here.

Delightful breakfast, brunch, and lunch offerings in a European Bistro setting. Great music, beautiful art add to the finest North Texas culinary delights. Exquisite crumb cakes and wonderful coffees and teas. A wonderful place to entertain friends, clien
We visiting this restaurant because we heard the crumb cakes were out of this world. Well, they are! And so is the sit-down menu of delicious breakfast and lunch assortments! We were surprised to hear from our very friendly waitress about how some of the ingredients the chef uses are imported. We highly recommend you try the breakfast sandwich, the cheesy jalapeno grits, and the quiche -- all incredibly tasty and filling! They offered 4 varieties of coffee and my husband had the Texas pecan which was delicious. While you're there, pick up some crumzz cakes. You will not be disappointed!

Mama's Daughters' Diner has been home cookin' breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the good folks in the Dallas area since 1958. We serve up breakfast all day, have daily specials and we bake our own pies, cornbread, and rolls. And, don't take just our word f
Restaurant is located in the downtown area. The "mama" decor was very cute. The staff was very efficient and friendly. I saw several items I would like to have tried.

I ordered from their âspecialty tacoâ menu and it wasnât special. The tacos took awhile to prepare (compared with the âbuild your ownâ option.) The salmon taco was bland and over cooked. (Might have been frozen and thawed out.) The shrimp taco was better, but still not great (brown avocado and skimpy fixinâs.) Chips and salsa come with your order, which was the best part. Itâs like a Chipotle wanna be and a Torchyâs wanna be had an ugly baby.

We have eaten here 4-5 times and food is always great. Expect to wait about 10 minutes for your order as itâs cooked fresh. The fish and black eyed peas have a little kick to them but if you canât stand some heat they will cook yours not spicy on the fish. The fried okra was perfect and the shrimp was very good too. Everyone is friendly, food is really good and fresh. Only complaint is the tables could use a good degreasing about once a week. If you are looking for great catfish (they even have non fried) give Doe Bellyâs a try, you wonât be disappointed.
