Famous for ribs, wings burgers and shakes
The portion sizes at Route 45 are huge, great value for money with American style food that is better than in American. Highly recommend the ribs and the parma. One word. Amazing!
Nice and clean when I was there today. Staff were always busy no waiting time on anything and were very nice to deal with. Food was well cooked and hot
Where to eat Chinese food in Forest Hill: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I dined here last night for a work going away gathering and had heard about the TGI Friday franchise of restaurants and suggested we try this location.Situated in the eastern suburb of Forest Hill which is 40 mins from the Melbourne CBD and located on Level 3 of Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre, there is plenty of parking and access is via the escalators and glass elevator. It is tucked into the corner of Level 3 so look out for the signs, the staff are friendly but are a little pushy for you to order as soon as you sit down and don't give you time to look at the menu let alone know what you are going to order. It is American cuisine so think Big Burgers, Ribs, Chilli fries, Burrito Bowls, Mac and Cheese Bites and very generous serves even for starters and they are very well priced with the most expensive main being a Fajita Tower (around $35.00 but can feed at least 4 people) so you definitely get value for money. They also have Happy Hour every day from 4pm-6pm for beers, sprits etc. for $5 and also their cocktail range is a popular choice for diners, and also have boozy milkshakes as well, with most cocktails ranging $16-20 each the best option would be to have the Pitchers of Cocktails which are $35 each where it's better value.I recommend the Fajita Tower and the Beverly Hill Iced Tea Cocktails, and this is a great place for friends catch up, birthdays, a weekend or midweek dining option and you get value for money.
