Our experience was really boosted by our waitress Leslie, who wanted to take great care of her customers. She gave us recommendations and helped us with our food order. She knew her restaurant's food and, given our discussions with her, she was able to make an appropriate recommendation. We felt able to talk with her (as people), and this is why she was able to make a recommendation for us. We had the Rocky Mountain Burger (special of the day). Instead of fries, we substituted a salad. We had been travelling, and did not have the opportunity to get a salad- so this was our chance. We remember coming to this restaurant 30 years ago, while skiing at Fernie. Pancake breakfasts and a day of skiing. Wonderful memories! This Smitty's is attached to the Husky gas station, and restaurant and gas station are on the main road and an easy pull in. Restaurant has parking by its door.Anyways, our pleasant experience with our waitress Leslie and Fernie's Smitty's Restaurant was great. Leslie did well to represent the best of what Smitty's has to offer- good old fashioned waitressing. And, how often to we get the opportunity to experience that these days?As always, thanks for reading our review; good and safe travels Dear TripAdvisor Friends :)Dear Customer,We thank you for taking the time and give us a nice review Warmest regard,

Stopped into Subway on our way home for a bit to eat. Incredible staff! So friendly and fun to visit with. Very clean and inviting to sit and visit with your family/friends and the staff (if they are helping someone else). The food well it is always good at Subway. God Bless

My fiance and I ate here on a whim and ordered a few happy hour appetizers, some drinks and some pizza. Our waitress has better things to do than serve us (We were one of three tables) and she acted like as though she was going out of her way to do her job. Hi, there. We're sorry to hear about your experience and we would like the chance to look into this for you. If you could please provide your details at https://bostonpizza.com/contact-us.html we will be able to follow up. Thank you!

Great beer, great atmosphere, great food and great service. Really canât ask for more than that. Burgers are excellent and there is cider on tap.

We stayed at Fernie for a week, and unfortunately didn't visit the Rusty Edge until our second-last day. This is definitely the best on-hill spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was good, and the service was great. Our only disappointment was that we didn't try the Rusty Edge sooner.

Fernie Hotel & Pub: Description Welcome to the historic Fernie Hotel & Pub. Nestled in the heart of downtown Fernie, this pub has been a fixture since it was rebuilt after the great fire of 1908. Of the 11 hotels rebuilt after the great fire it is the onl
Dropped in for a quick beer and burger after work. Sat at the bar. Friendly bartender recommended a few beers and offered tastes before I ordered. There was a burger and beer special which was really tasty and a good value.

Specialising in Cajun-inspired slow-cooked smoked dishes, there are options for carnivores and vegetarian alike. Southern classics are given a sophisticated make-over in dishes like the hushpuppies cornmeal fritters and the popular blackened red snapper.
Friendly, efficient service staff. Cozy fun atmosphere with comfortable seating. Great mountain views from each window table. Highly recommend Applewood smoked chicken with grilled vegetables and houlloumi cheese. House wine good and well priced. Only criticism - could use more menu selections.

Fernie's premier steakhouse featuring grass fed Black Angus Beef, oceanwise seafood, and certified organic, fresh vegetables all year long.
Arrived about 5:30 and was seated immediately. Had local beers and the nice waitress introduced the Tues special - salad or soup, then a 25oz Porterhouse Steak, 3 sides and a raspberry mousse for dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection and the mousse a nice light ending. A great feast after a day on the slopes!

Welcome to the Bridge Bistro. We are an independent, locally owned restaurant, located on the highway and along the Elk River, with the most amazing views overlooking the beautiful Lizard Range. We are open 7 days a week, Monday - Friday, 11 am until 9 pm
Ali was our server and did a great job of making us drinks and describing menu items to us. My husband had the ribs and salad and I had the tuna melt and salad and both were delicious! Fun, friendly place overlooking the river with an outside deck but it was a little too hot to sit outside that day! It was a fun, lively place and we will definitely return again! Enjoy!

The Brickhouse: A spin on pub culture, an old feel with a new twist. .. The Brickhouse Bar & Grill has become a favorite for those in town or those passing through. The chic décor and trendy environment offers the taste of an urban setting in a mountain t
