My son and I went there for breakfast. The meal came fairly quick and we began eating. They brought us the bill and at that point my son (6) said he needed to go to the bathroom. He left and was gone a couple of minutes when I got up to go help him. I told the server I'd be right back; left the bill on the table, as well as my son's hat and went to the bathroom. When we return a couple of minutes later, they were clearing out table. We weren't done, my son told them. They didn't seem to care and I told her we weren't finished and she brushed me off. I was clearly irritated when I got to the register where the manager was and basically said, I'm sorry. Didn't offer any kind of compensation.

I have been eating at The Rovk locations for 20+ years. It has been 9+ months since i ate at a Rock. They definately chsnged their dough and the cheese mix. The pizzas were steaming hot but did not have the same dough nor crust nor oven taste. Maybe it was an off night? Or have they gotten too " chain food commissary".....The servers were & staff are still.super friendly. We will try another location before making a final conclusion...... Thank you for being a long time fan and sharing your honest feedback with us. We'd like to learn more about your experiences and kindly ask that you reach out to Tom at [email protected] with feedback.

Food here was good and on par with other Ivars. Generally the restaurant was clean, menâs room was a disaster area. Need to keep up especially as it was prior to noon may have been previous days mess.

Inconsistent service, Last time we went here was for lunch and the service was spot-on and the food excellent. This time went for LobsterFest and we ordered the Ultimate Feast. The crab legs were rubbery and our service did not bring a cracker to open them with. When we asked him, he seemed a little put out. 10 minutes later he returned and apologized that he was busy, My wife was like how does he expect to open them. I thought he should have noticed right away before putting the plate down that it was missing. It was quite busy though but they're a big enough chain that they need to employ servers who can keep up with the rush. The rest of the meal was OK but they seated up next to the kitchen so there was noise all around us. I guess we could have asked for a manager but maybe our server was new. We weren't happy with his service and the food was mediocre. We tipped him, accordingly. :-(Hi, Jaran. When people think of diners, they typically boil the food down to burgers and fries. Luckily, for those who love variety, Black Bear Diner Federal Way is so much more. Our dishes are not only varied, but are cooked to perfection and delivered by the frien
The bear theme starts at the entry and continues through to the end. Many fresh items on the menu - the orange juice is squeezed a minute or two before you get it in their big machine. That's fresh! The menus are printed on a "newspaper" with plenty of selections. Big portions of everything. The waitresses are very knowlegeable and should be consulted when you want a good choce.

Found this restaurant by accident. Even though the place was busy the service was good. Food was very good too. Nice variety of food choices and I thought the prices were reasonable. Would eat here again.

This was my first visit to this little place, and much to our surprise we discovered two tables with friends (who live in this neighborhood) - and they never shared the secret. It's small with an even smaller bar area, but the food is lovingly prepared and delicious. My wife had the paella and it had much more sauce than we're used to, but was still good. I had the lobster and prawn linguine - delicious. I needed a spoon to get all of the sauce. Servings were modest, but enough. Calamari appetizer was chewy.Complimentary bread on the table would have been nice - an order is $7.So - it's not cheap, but very good. A nice spot for a special occasion.

We had 9 people in our group who got together for dinner. We talked and laughed and had great food. But it was the service that really struck me. Our glasses were always full, we were often asked if we needed or wanted anything else. We probably overstayed our welcome, but we were having such a great time that no one wanted to leave. And the waiters/waitresses didnât seem to mind at all. Thank you for a great evening! We're so glad to hear we were able to accommodate your large party to your complete satisfaction. Thank you so much for your support of our restaurant and sharing feedback regarding your experience! We look forward to serving you again soon!

Food fine..atmosphere fine..bar service fine..attitude of one of their managers who continued to smack his palm with a monkey wrench while looking at me..this was a little unnerving..I got into a conversation..a hypothetical one..about how I would defend myself against a larger attacker..(this involves military training..)..to which he though was humorous..and when I tried to answer him on what action I would take..he flipped out and assumed that I was threatening him..my fault was in swearing and getting very angry at him..still he admitted no fault..oh well..
