Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes. For over 85 years, the company's name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word "steak" stood for
My son and I stopped here when returning from Meramec Caverns. I didnât see the reviews until after I had already ordered, but fortunately we did not have a bad experience. We were seated within a few minutes and the staff was courteous. My son and I both got double burgers with fries and shakes that were good. The restaurant appeared clean. Free WiFi. Lot parking. I would return if I was in area.
Before heading into Six Flags nearby, a friend and I ate lunch here. The service was good, especially since one of the employees had only been on the job for two days. The food was fresh. The dining area was clean. The older gentleman who was training the girl was a little frustrated because someone from the night before did not properly prepare for this day (did not bake the bread). I could understand his anger and frustration, but he was using some language that should have been kept to himself as the two young children in there did NOT need to be hearing foul language. I am sure this is not the norm, but this was my first time to this Subway, and it was not a good impression. Everything else was fine.

This restaurant is in the Holiday Inn. We were traveling and needed a place to eat and found The Hay Market. They have burgers, sandwiches, entrees, pasta and salads. I chose the Nachos Supreme for a gluten free meal. OT was a very large portion, enough for 2-3 people. There was lots of meat, cheese and chips and was very good. The hamburgers were also good. Very friendly service.

So went here for lunch on our way through. Wish we had stopped somewhere else. I got the wings, two different sauces. One of the flavors barely had any sauce to speak of, the other sauce was ok. All of them were dried out and over cooked. My husband got the chicken Philly sandwich. We both tried each other's food. The chicken in his sandwich was tough and stringy. Ok so they have chicken in their name, they need to learn how to cook it! They have a sign that says "Our foods pretty good" I beg to differ, but at least they don't even claim their food is great.

My wife and I tried Michelle's after several friends recommended it. My wife had the Power Wrap and loved it. I had the traditional breakfast of 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. It was really good. I thought the meal was moderately priced. We will return again.

Well-worn restaurant with small bar area. The staff is friendly and service is quick. I was craving a salad and had low expectations of this restaurant bar. However, their Summer Salad was a pleasant surprise. It included fresh mixed greens, diced red onion, feta cheese, mandarin oranges, blueberries and chopped pecans. I had it with balsamic dressing. A meal-sized serving for only $8.

Driving from Branson back home, we family was hungry by the time we got to Eureka. A quick look on Trip Advisor led up to O'Dells less than a mile off the interstate. We got seated and had a waitress attend to us in a few minutes. I got a cup of clam chowder with my club sandwich were yummy. Sis-in-law got their cornbeef and cabbage that she really enjoyed. Everyone else in the pub had various varieties of beer that they seemed to really enjoy. Nice setting with good food, attentive service, all at reasonable prices.
