Calamity Jane's is a destination restaurant on the way past Mt Hood. Save your appetite for great burgers, vegi burgers and fries. The Place is cozy and family oriented. Too messy and good for a first date. lol

We were in Estacada (not a town that I frequent) and decided to have lunch in a "non chain" restaurant. Grandson wanted a burger so we went to the "Saloon". Began with deep fried dill pickles served with homemade Ranch dressing. Wow! I've had dill chips deep fried before but these spears were outstanding and the ranch dip was some of the best I've ever had. Ok...now it's hard to decide what to try next. I asked the server for a sample of their coleslaw. After tasting the coleslaw I knew we were on a roll right into more delicious food. I ordered a Rueben with coleslaw in lieu of sauerkraut and it was HUGE. I also requested their homemade potatoe salad. We also tried their chipotle chicken soup, dinner salad, french dip sandwich, hamburger and french fries.. The only item we sampled that wasn't outstanding was their french fries. I like my fries a little crispier...other than that, I'll drive the 16 miles to eat here again!

Camping at Metzler Park over the weekend and like to have breakfast out one morning. Went into Estacada for gas and asked attendant for recommendations. She pointed us to several but the Country Restaurant came up first as we went into town. Family owned, waitress greeted up and was very attentive. Menu was full and hard to choose. Portions were not large but were more than plenty to fill the average person. Big eaters would need more. Food was very tasty. Prices were reasonable. Coffee is limited to 3 cups before you have to pay again so don't plan on sitting here all day for the price of one cup. No wifi if you are looking for that. All in all a good experience.

Since our first visit one year ago, we have been back several times. Each time trying different menu items. The chicken and dumplings was a HUGE success! Everyone that ordered them in our party loved them. We've eaten in the bar several times, and visited "The Garden" several times. The outdoor area is so perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon. The menu of burgers and ribs made out in "The Garden" are delicious! Good variety of beer, wine and cider. They were training a couple of new servers just before the July 4 holiday, so they were working on getting up to speed. The horseshoe area is really nice, and the music they play was very fun. We will definitely be back again and again.
This is a great place to sit and watch what's going on around town, but the food is second rate and the prices high.Last thing I had was a sandwich, and for $7 got a regular, make it at home for better flavor, cucumber, cream cheese and barely anything else, sandwich, with no flavor.I don't recommend it unless you're just going in for coffee or tea or a cupcake. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your sandwich. At The Mason Jar, customer satisfaction is our highest priority, so we always welcome feedback and suggestions. If you have a suggestion that would have made your experience better, please feel free to share it with us.

Our restaurant and saloon sits on the most angelic view of the Clackamas River in Estacada, OR. Passion is what we sell, right down to hand cut tender, mouth watering, fall apart steaks, to the fresh and local seafood, wine and beer. We guarantee 100% hom

Had lunch here while camping at Milo state park. We sat outside, weather was nice. Tough to get downwind of smokers. Inside is cute and clean. Not a big fan of bars with slot machines but this one has a homey feel and a nice touch.

Great place for breakfast...or just meeting someone for coffee and a bagel. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
