Stopped by for a Saturday lunch while passing through ... looks to be a popular rural hangout ... friendly capable staff ... by the look of the size of the kitchen, the cook must be a miracle worker on a busy night. We both had a chicken sandwich, both excellent ... I had the BBQ. They looked to have a monster Bloody Mary that a couple was enjoying at the bar ... something to ask about ??

This is a great restaurant in a small town.
We sat at a Nice corner table by the window, house salad was excellent. We ordered the special whitefish with shaved almonds served with choice of baked or French fries. We did baked. Everything was very tasty. Staff was good and attentive enough - not intrusive. Itâs been a while since weâve been there. Iâd recommend going.

I had the beef brisket and my wife had the perch. Very accommodating service with quality food. The waitress was very attentive and brought take-out containers without being asked. I would definitely return here to try other meals. Great family seating and willingness to move table to accommodate group size.

"A gathering place for family and friends!" We are a family owned and operated restaurant. â The Family Inn is conveniently located between Escanaba and Gladstone in the town of Wells, Michigan. We take great pride in serving our homemade meals at a reaso
went for pie and coffee as this was right next to the motel I was staying. Pie was good, coffee was good, service was good and price was reasonable. Plan on returning for breakfast in the morning.

Whenever we visit Escanaba, we stop here. This time we had their delicious smokey flavored reuben sandwich and the black salmon salad. Both were excellent. Extra pickles cost a dollar. The server (Jacob) was very knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive.

When traveling, we try to eat in local places when possible. We were doing the "Circle Tour" of Lake Michigan and found Rosy's in an online search. It was about 9:30-10:00 AM and Rosy's was nearly empty. We walked in and were greeted immediately by, who else, Rosy! Both friendly and philosophical, we talked for a while and found out that all things on the menu are made in house. No pre-packaged take it out and nuke it here! I ask about the biscuits and gravy and she said they were the best...and she was right! Loaded with home made sausage, thick, and spiced just right. I usually put hot sauce on but none needed here. Biscuits would almost float off the plate. A little more conversation and foud that she has been there 32 years and is/was a Harley rider.I recommend this FAMILY diner wholeheartedly. I would drive out of the way if I am again in the area.

Stopped for dinner while drive home from Chicago. Service was slow due to place busy and short on servers. Food was wonderful. I had the combination of ribs, steak and lambchops and my wife had the filet. very nice décor and people were very nice along with great food.

I travel constantly, hit high end restaurants. I can tell you that his remote restaurant inside a good roadside motel is the best I have encountered!
