We came here with friends for our big night out. We had the inside corner table overlooking Lake Michigan. The setting is really spectacular and the service is excellent. The food was great, just a bit on the pricy side. I will come back when I am in the area again.

Weâre not just a lunch spot anymore! Our complete dinner menu includes delicious entrées ranging from cherry BBQ ribs and hand-cut steaks and smoked pork chops to fresh white fish and pasta. You can also order a glass of Cherry Republic wine or beer with
We have been fans of the Cherry Republic store for years. Now that there is a restaurant opened we were pretty excited to try it. All their menu items have something to do with cherry. I had the mac and cheese with pulled pork in cherry BBQ sauce (very good) and husband had steak frites with cherry horseradish sauce. Fries were very good, steak was nicely done. Local brew was good and wish we had room for desserts because they looked incredible. Watched the baseball game on TV, totally would go back

A 100 year old restored hotel overlooking Sleeping Bear Dunes Nation Lakeshore and Little Glen Lake. Food is all home-made and servings are generous. Best place around for quality, service and atmosphere.
This 107 y/o classic structure could provide a warm, wonderful B&B experience. It could, but it didn't. My wife's meat had more fat than flesh and my entree was so undercooked, it needed to be sent back to make it edible. The salad bar was pathetic and had limited fresh veggie items. It was more like Grandma's idea of a salad bar. The desserts were thawed products from a commercial food vendor. Only a half glass of water was served, while the one server was busy bussing dirty tables. (She simply did not have time to serve us.) Traditionally, this establishment offers champagne as part of brunch. Unfortunately, some people were provided champagne today while we were not. We heard it offered to other people, but we were never offered the champagne. Frankly, however, we did not ask because we just wanted to get out of this place. I went in thinking that this would be a "cheat day" on the diet. However, there was nothing worth my cheating at this disappointing destination.I wish you would have let us know about your food so that we could given you something else it was a very busy day all salads were homemade like Grama's we had several happy people letters and calls sorry you were not happy hope you can give us another chance

This ultra casual restaurant does great American staples. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time along with excellent big portion of onion rings for just $13 +tax. Service was prompt and friendly too.Its a pretty busy place as there are only 2 places to get dinner in the tiny town of Empire so be prepared to wait for a table.

We stopped here for lunch during the week. We had the buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer and it was really good! We had burgers for our entree and they were good as well. A little expensive for a family restaurant, especially when youâre paying $12-$15 for just a burger (sides are extra $). Thank you for joining us at Joe's we are glad you enjoyed our food. A little side note for TA folks reading this review.... the $15 price is for one of our 'specialty burgers' with your choice of side dish included. The price for a Joe's 1\3lb. fresh ground burger is $10.50.
