I always order their regular and it's great! The meatball with shredded provelon is great. Their service is excellent. They are very friendly. They also sell chips and soda. I think salad as well. If your ever in the heights check em out. They have one on the Southside as well that offer a little more. Same friendly service. I recommend them to anyone.

Had dinner with another couple on a rainy, icy, cold, miserable winter evening. As a result of the weather there were only two other tables in the restaurant that were occupied. Service was quick and courteous. Atmosphere was nice (especially in an almost empty restaurant!) We split an excellent flatbread appetizer containing brie and nuts. My wife's chocolate strawberry martini was outstanding. Our entrees were very good.....and HUGE. Enough for two more meals at home. So why only 3 of 5 stars? Two reasons: First, the server took my order for lamb and then returned five minutes later to inform me that they were out of lamb. Her: "So instead of the lamb what would you like?" Me: "Duh. Can I see the menu again?" She had to go get one. Apparently she thought I'd memorized it. I don't know about anyone else but I don't routinely make second choices when looking at a menu. Now call me picky, but in a virtually empty restaurant wouldn't you think a professional server would know what's not available before taking orders? That's my expectation if a place wants five stars. Scratch one star. Number two: My friend is HIGHLY allergic to onions and told the server this. She ordered a salad and clearly said: "Please don't put any croutons on the salad." (Croutons invariably contain onion powder.) So what was she brought? You guessed it, a salad with croutons all over it. Again, very unprofessional. Scratch another star. The competition with the chain restaurants is very tough, especially in the ghost town known as Elmira, NY. If a local restaurant wants to thrive it should do things better than all the rest. End of sermon.

Nice looking place on the inside , clean and nicely decorated......unlike the outside which is a pretty depressed looking area. However the service was quick and friendly and the food came quickly and was good. Two of us were there for lunch. My wife had a hot dog and fries which she enjoyed. I had pancakes, two eggs, hash and toast. The pancakes were pretty good but, of all things, rather tough, dry, and hard to cut. Rather than cutting them I pretty much had to tear them with my knife. Very unusual. Once I soaked them in syrup they were pretty good.

A great place for food for you and the family, or just a few drinks. Great selection of beer, Craft, Micro Brews etc... Many people have described us as the Cheers of Elmira, and I agree. Come in alone and leave having made a few new friends. We are cash
We used to live in the Elmira area and loved the Elbow Room. We recently visited the area to be with family and just had to go to the Elbow Room for wings. Theyâre still the best around.

We drove out of our way to go to Turtle Leaf in a total downpour. The kind of rain where there are flash flood warnings. We parked in front of the restaurant but only found meters offering 15 minute parking. Asking for advice inside, we were told that, to avoid a ticket, we had two options. Check side streets for individual meters that might offer longer times (kind of hard to do in a downpour and traffic) or use a nearby parking garage (seemed the only option). FYI: $5! Funny that on our very wet walk back to the restaurant along Baldwin St., we noticed that EVERY meter on the street offered extended times. When we entered, the expression and careful averting of eyes of our server told me that she knew that. Newsflash to Turtle Leaf management and server: Not cool! Other than that, the food was merely fine. My salmon burger was okay once I ditched the giant bun. The only sides for sandwiches are the choice between tortilla chips and salsa, or carrots and grapes, but, whatever. It was busy there so the locals must like the offerings. I love to leave positive reviews but can't on this one. I didn't leave hungry but I did leave feeling pranked.

This restaurant has been in this area for over 50 years! And it has the best hot dogs you will ever eat! The meat sauce is so good. You can't eat just one! Wonderful place to visit. Locally owned and operated.

Went for an overnight stay in Elmira and was looking for a good place to eat. We found this place, it is a bit pricey but the food was very good and the view was awesome. The staff was great too. They were very attentive. Would go there again..

Family owned since 1954 Libâs Supper Club is an Elmira staple. Italian dining and ambiance. Reservations strongly recommended.
I was seriously underwhelmed with the food after everyone at work who has been there raved about it. We'll only talk about the food. 1. lack of presentation2. poor quality pasta -- really, REALLY bland3. lack of complexity of flavor is the food4. the sauce -- Prego was better (and I don't eat that)The other two people had very unappealing-looking dishes. Of course...my barometer is Maggiano's Little Italy across from the Warner Center in Woodland Hills, California. Now THAT is an Italian restaurant. The verdict: IF you know what good Italian is, PASS on this. If you think McDonalds is good food, then you won't be disappointed here.Thank you so much for your feedback. We are sorry that you did not care for our establishment. The Spaziani family has been satisfying many customers for over 60 years. We are so fortunate and grateful to have a packed house and be booked up most evenings. We take pride in our restaurant and recognize we have to take the good with the bad. Lucky for us we receive mostly positive feedback. Good luck in your future food experiences. Thank you for giving us a try.
