It was Sunday and the line was out the door and up the street... This place was hopping! It was worth the wait. We did wind up sitting outside which was a little chilly but the food soon warmed us up. I had the Sutter burger: 2 Patties, Grilled Onions and Mushrooms, w/Swiss on a Ciabatta...YUM! My wife had half turkey sandwich with cup of soup. The servers as very fast and attentive. There food and service are old school and wonderful. We will be back in April. Take a walk around the streets and visit the Train Museum while you are there, they have done a great job.

Sienna was able to accommodate our last minute request for a large group for an early dinner. The setting is lovely, servers were efficient and attentive. There was enough variety on the menu to suit everyoneâs tastes. Food was good. No one was particularly impressed with the flatbread, but everything else was very good. Iâd probably save this for more of a special occasion restaurant.

We must have had a âdark cloudâ over us, as this experience was bad from the beginning. We had reservations, but had a bit of a wait. Perhaps the table we were to be seated at had overstayed. Our server was....not the best. She would take an order, not return, and then returned much later....to take our order.Again?Seriously? We reminded her, and she had an excuse. She was nice enough, but still. We were hungry and thirsty! We had hoped for a nice evening. This was not at all what we had expected from reading the reviews - so we were very disappointed, needless to say.We finally got our dinner, nibbled and left. The food was fine, but the service was so BAD, that we were literally BURSTING to get out of there after we finally DID get our dinner.

Big fan since they opened-but the food just gets more inventive and amazing each year. Just to rave about 2 dishes-house made paste in uni butter with Hawaiian prawn-out of this world-I keep craving a repeat of this dish. Just recently had Sterling caviar, french fries and hollandaise as a starter-may sound a bit unusual but literally melted on the tongue-we were all in heaven-just a luscious combination-truly memorable. Also had one of the best food and wine pairings ever at a wine dinner there-it is very difficult to bat a thousand on every dish at a wine pairing. They certainly succeeded. This is truly fine dining at it's best.

Land Ocean, or "LO", is our version of a place for great food with a comfortable atmosphere for lunch or dinner, at a reasonable price point. Land Ocean is the best of the Land and the Sea. Our culinary team has crafted a menu evoking the taste of the Ame
We decided to come back to Land Ocean Folsom with a group of six family members, and we're glad we did. Starting with a couple of Tempura Prawn Appetizers ($13.50 each). Following that, the main courses were Bistro Steaks (skirt steaks)($18), Fish & Chips ($14), Cheddar Burger ($14), Thai Noodle Steak Salad ($17.50), Salmon BLT ($16), Sea Bass ($24), and a Caesar salad ($8.50). Having tried many of the items on the menu, we are happy to report that no one was anything but complimentary about their selections. The service was attentive and efficient by Emily, who was charming. We won't hesitate to go back.

The Purple Place has been around for a long time. The atmosphere is slightly worn, but charming, comfortable and friendly. Decor is western. Attractive and interesting murals adorn the walls, even in the restroom which was very clean and well stocked. The staff was attentive. Kenny was a great waiter. He was fast and efficient. We had fish tacos, a flavorful turkey sandwich, and tasty white bean soup, which was a little too salty. The iced tea was very good.

Chicago Fire was born of my desire to enjoy the flavors and textures unique to Chicago Pizza and share them with others. Our menu is strongly influenced by Chicagoâs history and culture. Firstly, many of Chicagoâs tastiest foods were created by Greek and
The standout for us was the Greek Salad and Flat bread pizzas. Both were winners for the crew. The only critique we had it would be nice to have a few more different Italian entrees. Service was excellent and food was prepared well!!

Came here with family for lunch. Maybe our expectations from reviews were set too high, but really not impressed. The group had a mix of salads and sandwiches and while tasty, really nothing stood out considering the pricing and hassle of the cafeteria ordering gymnastics. From ordering the food to getting drinks and paying, the staff was really unimpressive. I'm sorry if I asked you to do something for me as a customer.During the traditional lunch hour time, they ran out of icead tea and apparently nobody in the entire restaurant knew how to refill the dispenser. After repeated requests, and no management to be found, we gave up and just had water. Overrated

I had the six ounce filet, and it was excellent. However, be aware if you ask for medium well, you will get medium rare. Everything else was stellar. We went for our anniversary, and they brought us a complimentary chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream after dinner. Nice touch!

Welcome to the award winning Back Bistro in Folsom! We are Folsom's Premier Wine Bar and Bistro! We have moved to Folsom's Palladio right next to the theater. Serving 30 inspiring wines by the glass, a full craft cocktail bar, microbrew beers and a season
First time here, upon walking in the door there is a bar (which was packed and extremely noisy). We had a reservation so thankfully we were seated immediately. Once in the dining area, it was still noisy and difficult to have a conversation because the acoustics weren't very good. Service and food were great though. I ordered the Grilled Swordfish, it was amazing! I passed on the coconut lime rice that is served with it and got steamed green beans instead. The swordfish had mango salsa and a sweet Fresno chili buerre blanc sauce. I ate ever single bite...so delicious! My husband ordered the Mishima Ranch Wagyu Skirt Steak and he was pleased with his meal too (I thought mine was better though!) ha I would have given Back Bistro a 5 Star rating but the noise level killed it for us so that's why I gave them 4 stars. We will go again but next time, we'll dine on the outdoor patio.
