I have eaten here twice this summer and both times frustrates by the 'rules'. Ate in the outdoor tent, but they would not serve burger 'inside' the tent. Ok, got it. Went back a week later, sat outside the tent at a table, and here I could not get pizza. Pizza only served inside the tent. Hunh? Asked to speak to manager. Milly came out and was so incredibly rude I was STUNNED! We live down the street and have been coming here for years. Some food is great, other selections mediocre. Calamari, burgers caprese, chicken dinner are great. I wish I could have tried pizza!

This restaurant was super busy. Great buzz, great food, and good service. The experience is typical Vineyard cool, low ceilings, authentic restored home like environment...and great food! It is not inexpensive but worth every penny. I love the porch out front for a glass of wine before your table is ready too!

We were back at Lucky Hank's with a couple of friends after a year away. Still the same out of the way location - with parking! Still a quiet garden with a restaurant inside, odd paintings and photos on the walls, seating in the back room, and further out on the back porch. We were seated five minutes after our reservation time - no problem. We'd had drinks at home, so only a couple beers were ordered. I was impressed that they had a very nice thick porter that complemented my vegetarian dinner well. But, the food didn't all impress. Yes, my farm share was great, but it was a little small. The lobster deviled eggs were rich and tasty, but not truly special for the money. The sweet potato fries with my friend's ribs were soggy, although the ribs were really wonderfully meaty and savory in their sauce. Salads were fantastic. My wife had Cod cake appetizers as a main, and did enjoy them a lot. Finally, the brownie with ice cream and berries that came with another friend's three course meal was a different kind of brownie - gluten free - but very nice all the same.Service was friendly, but a bit slow, especially with dessert. So, not perfect, but very good. I'm sure we'll still go back.

Owned by local guys who care about the local economy The Port Hunter is a great addition to the Edgartown restaurant scene. We were three for dinner and I had fabulous cod fish tacos while the other two folks enjoyed the Vegatabowl. Each dish was prepared very carefully and was very fresh. The food was delish but the service was at yet another level. The staff is attentive and everyone has a job. Our waters running low, someone is right on it. Dishes need to be cleared, again someone is right on it. Food coming from the kitchen, there are two folks whose job is it to wipe each plate and make sure it looks professional. Want raw oysters, there are two people at the raw bar keeping it fresh and ready all the time. At one point we were curious how low our waters could go before being refilled, they never got below 75%! And it was not to the point of being annoying, it was professional and very well done. They do not take reservations unless you are a party of six; we were three on Monday night and got right in, but we did see lines later in the week. We will return for sure!

Join us for delicious dining on the beautiful Edgartown Harbor.
Visited here on Columbus Day weekend with my family. It was a nice evening so we got to sit outside and watch the Chappaquidick ferry go back and forth. I ordered the Lobster roll which was filled generously with lobster which had been lightly tossed with mayo and celery. The only issue was the roll wasn't very good and I found the lobster a bit salty. My wife and son tried the shrimp dumplings which were actually japanese style shumai and both liked them enough to order it a second time. My son also ordered a salmon sushi roll which he found to be quite tasty as well. The service was attentive but unobstrusive. Overall, a nice restaurant with something that will please almost anyone looking for a decent, reasonably (for MV) priced seafood meal.

We loved our dinner here. Cocktails at the small bar were excellent, and then we ate in the very pretty patio. The food was excellent, especially the peach salad appetizer., and the lime semifedo capped off the night . Excellent, well priced wine list. A really great choice for a peaceful and intimate dinner. What great selections, we're so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you!

BEST CHOWDER IN NEW ENGLAND FROM YANKEE MAGAZINE, BEST CHOWDER 2015 from CAPE & ISLANDS MAGAZINE, MV MAGAZINE and winner of the 2015 MV CHOWDER CONTEST!! - Copper and mahogany grace our nautically chic dining room creating a casual-fine dining atmosphere.
The chowder was perfectly madeâright amount of salt, perfectly cut potatoes, perfectly diced clams. My husband had the lobster roll and I had shrimp cocktail. Not the best shrimp cocktail Iâve ever had, but not bad. The lobster roll was delicious. They have a really good bar with great drink selectionsâwines, beers, vodkas, and tequilas. Checked out the loft upstairs and it was hopping. We left to get Backdoor Donuts, but would return to play darts, pool, etc. Great place.
