The Loft at Madrona promises a modern and elegant dining experience. The bar has illuminated onyx with great views of the bay while also overlooking downtown Eastsound. The deck has been redesigned with infinity glass railings giving an unobstructed view
Had a great meal. View of Eastsound is spectacular, but the food is better. Homemade bread and artichoke dip for appetizer were excellent. Had steak and pork for main course. Both were outstanding. Desserts were unique and tasty ( cantaloupe sorbet with cucumber ice). Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Very nice view. Nice cozy Irish bar with very good beer selection and fully-stocked wide inventory bar. And did I mention the view. Bartenders left us alone except when we needed a drink.

We ate there twice and had delicious meals both times. Their small plates are more than enough food for a meal, very filling. We stayed at the Inn above the cafe, so easy access.

While vacationing with family we took the ferry from Anacortes to Orcas Island. I needed to do a boarding pass and asked if they had wi-fi. They did and gave me the password. I had a soda while doing the boarding pass and when I was done I asked what I owed and they said nothing. I took a kids menu with me so the grandkids could see if there was something for them on the menu. When I caught up with the family my wife and I and the grandkids came back and had lunch while their parents went off on their own. Food was great and we had a scenic view of the bay. Service was wonderful.

No matter how busy the place gets the food always is good. The burgers and chicken strips are awesome. If you are looking for a place with consistent quality and fun atmosphere...this is the place.

The Mansion Restaurant The Mansion Restaurant is located on the original veranda of the historic Moran Mansion and offers creative local cuisine in a stunning waterfront setting.
We had a waterfront table to a beautiful sunset. Food and service were both good. If your a non-alcohol person, the ginger/lime/cayenne house made soda was really tasty. We had the mussels, seafood chowder, wild salmon, and halibut and all were nicely prepared and tasty. Prices are a little high, but this is a resort spot, so it wasn't to bad. Arrive a 1/2 hour early and tour the mansion upstairs to see the organ and all of the artifacts, it is pretty amazing to see!

We are Orcas Islands Premiere spot for breakfast and lunch. Staring Jan 20th please join us for dinner as well Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 5:30pm-8pm...
I'll get the less positive out of the way...service was average at best from the greeting to checking out.The food however was excellent. Everything is big portion...skillets, huevos rancheros, breakfast burrito and even the eggs benedict. The menu says black forest ham on the menu but it wasnt. Also coffee was just ok. Had to add sugar to cut the taste.Great place for a nice home cooked traditional breakfast...and the food comes fast.

Joni and John Trumbull opened Roses in 1991. The name is derived from the roses planted around the shop's original location. Bakery was included in the name as our original cafe menu relied heavily on sweet and savory goods from the bakery oven. A retail
Roses Cafe is two important things to life on Orcas Island: it's a bistro-like place for riveting comfort food that blends French technique with Puget Sound ingredients, and it's an epicerie of the kind you find in small French villages. Baked goods, frozen things you can take home and cook later (soups, meat pies, etc), cheese and, for gosh sakes, wine. Yes, WINE. Mostly French as that's what owner John loves the most, but some gems from Washington and Oregon, too, as befits the location. We were only here for the day but I came home with three bottles I couldn't live without or find here in Bellingham where I live. Our food was, as always, fantastic: an open-faced pan-seared fish sandwich, a cured tomato panzanella salad, and a sensuous bowl of chicken and green chile stew with masa dumplings. All washed down with a splendid bottle of one of Bandol's best roses, Pibarnon. The restaurant isn't vegetarian, but there's a definite lean toward healthy with many vegetarian dishes, and the proteins are primarily if not exclusively chicken and seafood. And the atmosphere's wonderful. Home-y smells and sounds from the kitchen, the clatter of dishes coming and going, and the ooh's and ah's of satisfied diners. Open for breakfast and lunch only.

The cafe is Delicious food with a spirit of genuine service and hospitality Guests who visit the New Leaf remark on two things consistently: the quality of the food and the caring service. Your experience is always at the forefront of our minds - the food
I went here because it was recommended on Trip Advisor. And the food was great. I didn't expect it to be so charming. Too bad the waitstaff (both hostess and waitress) were in bad moods. Maybe it's because it was just after labor day and all they were short staffed. Waitress was so grumpy that we joked about it all week.

What a great retreat. The Innkeeper was very helpful on guiding us on getting to the San Juan's. The Inn was GREAT!! Overlooking Ships Bay, a beautiful vista. A good base for exploring the Islands. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. Very comfortable.
