Front entrance could do with a wash and brush up. Decor probably original 50s, but clean. Food was great. I had a Charlie Special Burger which was one of the best and tastiest burger ever. Chips were excellent and service was good considering the place was packed! Booking necessary, particularly on a Saturday night. Service was very friendly. We would have liked to stay longer but had tickets to a show just down the road. Highly recommended.

I visited not long after they opened and it was terrible. However everywhere deserves a second chance. And wow have they got it right! Really nice burgers and the sides are amazing. My one criticism is that I wasn't asked how I wanted my burger cooked. But I definitely recommend this place, trust me your tastebuds will thank you. Hey MMW72,Thanks for leaving us a 4* review. We went here when it opened and was great. We went valentines night 3 of us... walked into a lively greeting of the young girl. Sat down. Ordered starters. Only 2 other people in and we saw they sent there food back. Did not phase is that. They then walked out..Ok.... the food was over cooked.we think the chef didnât want to be there. No sauces, no condiments frozen burger bread fell apart.Tasteless chicken burger. Wings tough. Ribs well all i can say is they were like theyâd been left on a bbq overnight.Our child had ice cream...now being a American diner(ive eaten in America) you would think the ice cream would come out al flamboyant.. no 2 scoops and a squirt of sauce!! I felt for the girl she was polite and tried to make the best of it. 2 other tables walked out when we were there. £56 for it!!! Such a shame..... not good at all.
