My wife and I joined three other people for dinner at 2 Hopewell to celebrate the 80th birthday of one of our dear friends. As soon as we felt the quiet ambience of the dining room, we suspected we were in the right place. The moment we were greeted by Caesar, our server, we were sure of it.From the Chopin martinis to the wine, from the burrata we all shared to start to each of our entrees, from our friend's birthday Creme Brûlée to the rest of our desserts, everything was as classy as it was delicious.Treat yourself (or a friend). Try it.

Celebrating a small reunion of friends and the staff was wonderful. They gave us a great table to enjoy conversation and the wait staff were excellent and pleasant. The food was absolutely scrumptious. We completely enjoyed the portobello mushroom and eggplant appetizer as well as the calamari. Our entrees were delicious. We all enjoyed a different meal, and the presentation of the pork loin was beautiful as well as delicious. I was torn between ordering the spinach gnochi or the mushroom ravioli and I was delighted with the mushroom ravioli. We were celebrating a birthday and the waiter brought our dessert with the cutest candle. Such a delightful place. Easy access to the highway right on Main Street and perfect parking in the free lot next to the restaurant. We will return!

We went to Taino on recommendation of friends and were not disappointed. They get the BBQ right in this modest spot. We enjoyed house made sausage, pulled chicken, and great sides of BBQ baked beans, mashed potatoes, and corn bread. Beers on tap were good. There are a few tables inside and picnic tables outside. Service was friendly and efficient.

Middletown's first and only gastropub ... featuring 18 beers on tap and a dynamic menu designed to tempt every palate. (Kitchen open LATE: Sun-Thr til 12:00am and Fri-Sat til 1am)
Celtic is a very special place, and always my first choice for both dining or grabbing a drink at the bar, with family or friends, for social or business. The food is unbelievable (thanks, Bill), and the house is the friendliest ever (thanks, Brandon). And the staff is professional, attentive, and just fun and welcoming. Too many to list - but Lauren, Chris, Sara, Kasey, Lexi, Courtney, Ang, Mea,Taylor, to start. - thanks guys!

Goats N Roses opened in May 2017 and is located on Carter Hill Farm in Marlborough, Connecticut. Owners Mitch and Hazel partnered with esteemed Chef Kathy Denisiewicz to create a rare and exquisite farm to table dining experience. Chef Kathy Denisiewicz i
This establishment setup is very confusing to me as there seems to be multiple businesses operating on this one farm but each running under different ownershipThe restaurant itself is simply a small number of tables outdoors only and it is under a pergola so I am guessing the restaurant is only open during nice weather? Also not sure what happens if it rains if they just close on those days?I found the food to be good but very overpriced and some portions were quite small. The desserts were $10 each! The server described "daily lemonade specials" which clearly sounded like they were home made so I was quite surprised to be given a bottle of farmers cow brand prepared lemonade. Its nice they serve local companies but just specify that on the menu or clarify that when telling customers about beverages available that it is bottled lemonade and not freshly home madeService was pleasant however painfully slow. I saw 2 servers working and no one else that appeared to be in charge or any management staff supervising the dining area or pitching in to help, checking in with customers for any needs etcThis is CASH only which I observed overhearing 2 other tables not prepared for and quite irritated aboutThe 2nd business on the farm is called the hogs breath tavern. They serve beer and wine. If you want a glass of wine during your meal your "restaurant" waitress can't serve it you, you must get up and enter the tavern yourself and buy your wine and carry it back yourself to your outdoor table. This was very oddThe 3rd business on the farm is an ice cream stand/country store/farm stand. If you want ice cream for dessert you need to leave the "restaurant" area and walk over to the ice cream stand and pay for your ice cream there. I was told the bartender from the tavern works at both businesses and serves the ice cream as well as pouring drinks and literally runs back and forth between the 2 businesses to wait on customers. Before or after your meal you can take a few minutes and walk around to see goats and a few peacocks and chickens on the farmThe music selection playing was very pleasant but it was extremely loud, we could barely hear what others at our table were saying- please lower the volume of the music!I didnt see any rest room signs in the tavern but did see a sign for what looked to be very basic facilities ( male/female combination) in the ice cream buildingWhile walking back to the car other customers were asking me and others walking to the parking area if we knew what the barns were used for, if the restaurant was open all year, do they hold weddings on the grounds etc. I replied I had plenty of questions myself on how things run and the others said the same thing. Seems many customers are quite confused about what this place is all about and no place to get answers. I didn't find the website to be very helpful either Suggestions to owners: Would be helpful to have a nice brochure available on the tables explaining to customers how things run as its quite unusual and atypical. This could be an opportunity to describe any other activities or functions available going on at the farm people might be interested in

For the old-time Portlanders, this is the place for breakfast. Newbies might be looking for Flo, it has that feel. Honest breakfast/lunch diner menu, diner tables and diner counter. Reasonable prices. The homemade hash is pretty good, but make sure it's the home made or you'll get canned.Gluten-free menu, someone on the staff must be gluten-free.

Tues is taco night! Cheap tasty tacos!! We ordered both chicken and beef and they were excellent! We had not been here in a few years due to a incident with a meal, but decided to give it another chance and glad we did.

We had a very enjoyable girls' luncheon at the Sadler. Pot pie was excellent as was the quiche of the day. Raisin bread was exceptional. Nice atmosphere. Great service and although weather wasn't permitting there is a very nice outside patio. A really good place for lunch or dinner.

I just ate here. They have Giffordâs ice cream which is good but they are not knowledgeable enough about nuts or cross contamination for anybody with allergies to safely eat here. There are way too many risks.

Didnât know what to expect here, as we stopped on a whim. The place was busy and everyone was eating the prime rib, so that is what I ordered. It was really very good, only it was stone cold -which was a bummer. Potato, veggie, prices and service were all good.
