We read reviews about Herbs. We looked at the menu online before visiting. There was a good mixture of locals and visitors eating lunch. I wanted to see what was truly local so they said the Trout came from the Nathayla River (A fishery). The trout was great. Flaky and tasty. Thank you. My wife had the popcorn shrimp. Good job. We live in the seafood capitol of the world and you guys did fine with the shrimp. Nice, and speedy service. We did not know about the salad bar because it is around the corner and not visible.

Had heard how great this restaurant was for 'home cooking' and that all the veggies were fresh, etc. I could hardly wait to taste the creamed corn (okay not great); green beans tasted just like they were out of a can (not good); fried chicken - I was so excited to have some home-styled-fried-chicken (not good - way, way too much breading for the size chicken piece); and corn bread was so dry (we couldn't eat it). Won't return.

Burgers were the best! Big assortment! Well prepared and served with a nice choice of sides. Nice little town. Take note no liquor sales on Sunday!

This place is adorable! Someone spent a lot of thought and love on the design of this place. We stopped in after a lack-luster BBQ lunch, and this spot turned our trip around. Yummy ice cream and brownies, great gift items, and a friendly staff. Hopefully the other local merchants will take note. Sweet and Southern is exactly the kind of place we were hoping for.

Trying to decide what to order was the hardest part! Everything sounded good. My husband and I both had the pulled pork sandwiches which were great. The fried okra was very good and the brunswick stew was fabulous! I loved the slightly spicy kick it had. I will have to add that to my recipe. We will stop here again, the next time we are in the area because there are many more items I want to try!

Best local coffee spot with some of the most incredible tasting sandwiches around. Here at Katz's New York Deli in McCaysville, GA we take pride in the quality of the meat used for every sandwich. If it were not perfect and prepared just the way you order
I ordered a Reuben Sandwich. It was delicious. Not like any that I have eaten before. The food is not delivered to the table but one picks it up at a counter in another room. I would eat there again.WOW, Cheryl & John! We can't begin to tell you how nice it is to hear words of appreciation & praise. We want every customer that walks through our doors to experience the same level of service. It's thanks to customers like you taking the time to tell us what we are doing right that we are able to constantly strive for excellence. Sincerely,Fran, Steve, Nancy & Mary AnnBTW, the food IS delivered to your table. Perhaps you were at the counter.

We stopped in here for a late lunch/early dinner after a day of whitewater rafting because it was the first place we came to and we were tired and starving. It turned out to be the perfect choice! Great burgers and friendly service provided the perfect end to our day. I was a little disappointed when we were told they were out of french fries (how does a restaurant run out of fries?!) but they quickly added that they could substitute seasoned fries instead, which were even better, I'm sure.

We stopped for a quick biscuit sandwich for breakfast before going white water rafting just down the road. Only used the drive through to order so we didn't go inside. Service was quick but we got the wrong order from the window. The girl realized it was wrong right away and made an exchange. Bacon, egg and cheese biscuit was good and we were on our way.

Off the Blue Ridge train we were not very hungry and saw their sign for pizza by the slice. We ordered a two slice pizza special with one topping for $5.00. The pizza was very good and I highly recommend it.

Locally owned and operated. Fresh bread baked daily for subs, you may choose from white or wheat bread. You have 12 pizzas to choose from,we gladly do half and half or of course you can build your own.We have hot subs, cold subs, salads made when ordered
Well, that's not entirely true. Ducktown has a Hardee's as well. They close at 8pm so a late dinner is out of the question. So, we tried The Copper Station for lunch. The pizza was fine and the salads were pre-made which was fine too. This is not the only pizza place in town. The Shell Station next to the Ocoee River Inn has Hunts Brothers Pizza. I actually liked the convenience store pizza better (Pizzas were a bit thinner and ingredients stood out a little bit more.). What the Copper Station has is a better selection of items. Since the restaurant selections are so limited in Ducktown, it is worth it to at least pay them a visit.
