Timmerman's Supper Club was built and established in 1961 by Helen Timmerman. Helen's vision for fine dining resulted in a great reputation for superb food, cocktails and weekly entertainment. In 1985 the restaurant was purchased by David and Patti Thiltg
We all had the Prime Rib. Very tasty and done just right. Our waiter was also great. However, when the bill came, management decided to add 2 1/2% service charge for using a credit card. I have never experienced a credit card charge on a dinner bill in my life. In my opinion, this is so cheapskate it's beyond belief. Stay away until they remove the charge.

While watching the game they ran the train which dropped candy to customers kids. I got a nice video of the train moving around the ceilings edges. Drink prices great and itâs a family bar restaurant to share with your family. Our meal was quality food, well prepared and presented, and tasted great, even enjoyed the salad bar. Missed coming here as they transitioned from owners death, but the son stepped up and with family itâs back to a great place to eat as part of our regular rotation of venues in dubuque. Thanks Thank you so much for thinking of us.... we appreciate your support...we all miss my husband but are trying very hard to keep the restaurant as he ran it.

Incredibly on the Saturday night before Motherâs Day, the kitchen didnât open until 30 minutes after weâd been seated. Dinner here took 2.5 hours although we ordered only one course. While we waited the first half hour, a group of staff were standing in a clump at the back joking with each other. The chef walked out to our table at one point with food but did not apologize. The food was good, as would be reasonably expected given the bill of about $100 for four entrees. The server also kept us waiting to pay the bill. Although I had my credit card in hand for about ten minutes she took another ten minutes to return it.

Usually I really enjoy breakfast at Carolineâs. While I miss items from their previous menu (like frittata with quest sauce), I find new dishes to try. Todayâs vegetable quiche was disappointing. The problem was that it was over baked. The crust was tough and too thick, I had to use a knife to cut it. The top of the quiche was the color of a brownie, not a golden brown like it should be. It was tough and chewy. The interior of the quiche was dry. It could have used cheese. I think the item is overpriced as well.

Wow - we're already thinking about when we can come back to Brazen! Restaurant is stunning, the bar is spacious and the service was friendly and professional. The food is amazing as well so foodies out there, don't miss the opportunity to snag a reservation. We were impressed with the duck tacos but the eggplant appetizer (recommended by the bartender) was a show stopper - don't overlook the eggplant. The beef shoulder entree was delicious as well. The chef is truly talented and he took the time to check in with guests in the dining area, which is always a nice touch!

Good food, nice atmosphere, good wine and beer list, one of the better choices on Sunday and Monday when some other restaurants are closed and avoids the weekend crowd. the outdoor dining on the sidewalk is great when the weather cooperates.
