I have been going to Driftwood for ice cream & summer Sister Lakes sundries since being a girl. Their ice cream, old fashioned counter service and outside picnic tables on Round Lake can't be beat for consistent summer fun & happy memories. Great sunset views & family treat for the young & old. Mackinaw Island Fudge ice cream is my favorite. Great service every summer.

Only thing I can negatively say about this location is parking is limited. Former bowling alley converted into a beer pub, restaurant, outdoor experience. Everything is good, indoors and outdoors. Went here on Friday night with some friends. Enjoyed it so much I went back the next night with the misses. Highly recommend.

This is a local favorite midway between Dowgiac and Cassopolis. They offer nightly specials and do seafood and steaks. Currently they have very good pizza's with good choices of crust and toppings and the quality and service have gone up since a former waitress purchased the business over a year ago. They are open for Lunch and Dinner.
An UNBELIEVABLE find, way off the beaten path - superlative thin crust, hand tossed pizza. This would stand up to almost any pizza parlor anywhere - Chicago, New York, or LA. A little convenience store at the intersection of Twin lakes and Marcellus Highway has been blessed with a very talented pizza maker. This is basically a word-of-mouth find, but if you are vacationing anywhere near Diamond Lake, Sister Lakes 0r any of the other 226 lakes in the summer or skiing at Swiss Valley in the winter - this is a must. It is simply amazing - regular crust or gluten free - both are perfect. Thell them you read about them on TripAdvisor.Thank You

We were there with a bunch of elderly people in town for their 65th High School Reunion (Sister and I were escorting our Mom). First thing I noticed was that the restaurant had set everyone up in a place with easy access for everyone. The service was prompt and appeared that everyone was satisfied with their food. Mom and I each got the Friday special of All you could eat Fish. ...only there was plenty on the first serving so that was all we could eat! LOL My fish was cooked Just right. Crispy on the outside but fishy on the inside. Perfect. The fries were crispy/tasty. I didn't love the coleslaw - but I think it's more just me. Not a huge fan. Mom and I both agreed that the tartar sauce was a little bland. The cornbread was actually Johnnycake (i.e. a little sweeeeeter). Sister had a burger with fries and said it was tasty. The place IS a bar first and as it got later in the evening, the bar crowd was moving in. As we were finishing up our meals, a guy was setting up for the Karaoke that would be starting around 9 or 9:30ish. Our long table was set up in that area. He worked around us and when he started up the music, he actually kept it a very decent level until we were heading out. Then all the younger crowd started moving in and music went up accordingly. The place has an outside area as well. I didn't think that the food was overpriced for the value. Not a lot to choose from in the area but I really enjoyed this place and would definitely hang out here if I lived in town.

Zekes has some really good food. Prices are very reasonable and portions are good. They also have over 200 imported beers and you can join the beer club.

For all how love home eating, with home made foods at very reasonable prices, THIS is the place to go. The bean soup was homemade and reminiscent of mom's cooking. All portions were generous from my son's lasagna to the omelets. The surroundings are CLEAN, the atmosphere like being in Norman Rockwell's paintings of families gathering in restaurants. The omelets were lovely with sausage and cheese. The lasagna inspired my son to say "it's a little overdone" until he tasted those edges and found the cheese/tomato/noodle combo to be crispy and he absolutely loved it, a true dining value on all fronts.

On the whole, we had a very pleasant dinner. My steak, mashed potatoes and caesar salad came with large portions and tasted good. The server was friendly and attentive. The menu was peculiar lots of steaks, but with no seafood that wasn't fried. I don't think there were any pork or lamb entrees and the only poultry dish was chicken fingers.

Loved everything about this place. Great food, good drinks, and awesome atmosphere. Family style tables and games that facilitate community and communication! The food is very fairly priced as well. Cute patio, but we ate inside. We also loved the mini size ice cream bars for dessert...so fun!! Would definitely go again.

Friend and I ate here, after a busy day of errands. Her suggestion. I was surprised at the amazing service and quality of food, and the preparation. Awesome establishment. I highly recommend it
