Environment - this is a great place to meet up with friends or meet new friends. There is a large bar area with additional table seating. We've been patrons of this restaurant from almost the beginning and have always found the crowd pleasant and friendly. There are big screen tv's that are usually tuned into a variety of sporting events. Its kind of tucked in a mini strip mall with minimal parking. I can imagine on a big sports night finding a spot may be a little difficult.Food - I can personally vouch for the nachos, the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, the buffalo wings, and the cheeseburgers at this place. All delicious! Bar - the bar staff we've encountered are polite and friendly. The drinks are not watered down. Some times the service is a little slow but that hasn't been an issue for us. If in the area I would definitely check out Tailgaters in Brentwood. If you are in Antioch, CA, check out the Tailgaters on Lone Tree as well. The son of the owners of the Brentwood location owns that one and the menu/drink menu mirrors the Brentwood location.
I am very fond of BBQ and my wife and I stumbled upon this little gem and can report that they are doing it right. The chopped brisket, the burnt ends and turkey were all done to perfection. The sides were good and the corn bread was like cake. The selection of sauces were good. I sampled them all and settled on the Alabama white sauce and my wife went with the traditional sweet sauce. With a wide variety of sauces there is no doubt you will find one to your liking. The service was friendly and the overall cleanliness was above average. If you are hungry for BBQ give this restaurant a try. You will be glad you did!

Sweeneyâs is one of our favorite's in Brentwood, truly enjoy the food & the service is friendly & great. Sometimes it get pretty crowed, but its worth the wait. I had some minestrone, along with some meat ravioli, we started the meal off with some crab cakes which were perfect, could of made a meal of just them. The bar is always full and a great place to hang out. If you out in Brentwood make plans to dine in and enjoy the food and atmosphere, highly recommended. We're honored to be one of your favorite places in town! Crab cakes are always a delicious choice, and we're glad you enjoyed them as a great start to your meal. Looking forward to seeing you here again soon! Cheers, Peter & Veronica, Owners

Took a while for me to find someone to seat me (signage mis-directed me to the patio), but once seated, the meal was excellent. Nice wine list, great service, wonderful food. Had the Seafood Salad, which was amazing, along with an Italian white wine. Added a side of sauteed mushrooms, which was a generous serving. Nice touch that they provide bread with butter and basalmic/oil.

Bringing upscale dining in a warm casual atmosphere to Downtown Brentwood featuring the menu of Executive Chef Jesus Martinez since 2016.
We ate here a few days ago for lunch and it was crazy. My husband placed his order asking for medium rare meat and the waiter return to say the meat is precooked and it wouldnât be medium rare. So he picked something else and they same thing happened. He finally settled for French dip and of source it as well done but good enough. We always enjoy dinner here but definitely wonât return for lunch.
This is a recently opened restaurant featuring farm fresh local produce. The menu is eclectic and distinct. Everyone in our party found something they liked to eat---a real turkey sandwich on a marvelous roll with avocado and pickled red onion relish, yum! There was a gluten free roll for the person with allergies; a superb chili,a lovely salad and an incredibly fresh, ripe, and sweet fruit cup. The iced tea was watermelon tea and it was amazingly refreshing. The coffee was great. We've sent friends there who've said the breakfast was heavenly. Staff is very accommodating. We were amazed to find something so good (a foodie's delight) in Brentwood. There is a gift shop on the other side of the building with very unique items and an emphasis on organic. The shop also sells fresh local produce so those of us that live in Brentwood don't have to drive to the Ferry Building in San Francisco to buy the organic peaches grown at Knoll Farms right here in town.

Stopped by for something to eat and a glass of wine and was pleasantly surprised. The service was fast, the food cooked perfectly, and the house wine was nice. Coming from the bay area I was even more surprised at the bill...only $14. I would have easily paid $25 for the same in Sunnyvale. Stop by for a great sports environment complete with TVs everywhere. Great place to watch a game or meet for drinks with friends.

Stopped in at Boardwalk Grill yesterday with my wife and two friends. It was approximately 1:30pm, which we had planned on in order to hopefully bypass any major rush crowd. This was our fourth time that we had come to the restaurant, with the first three being small disasters. The first visit had the waiter bringing my friends their food and only then telling me they didnât have what I had ordered. When I re-ordered, I got my food after my friends had long finished theirs and my order was still wrong! The second time was a two hour fiasco to get shrimp tacos which also included a 20 minute wait just to get our drinks to the table. The third was just my wife and me and again almost two hours and they had run out of Chardonnay wine! All of these visits were on weekdays, as to avoid any weekend crowds.Yesterday, we arrived and admittedly we first asked for a outside table. After 15 minutes sitting at the bar, I asked the hostess for a table inside and were told no tables were available at the moment (although there numerous empty tables in the restaurant), but she would try. I also mentioned we had been sitting at the bar hoping to order a drink and four different individuals had come behind the bar, mixed drinks and then left. She said they were just servers, there were no bartenders and did we want a drink? I answered âyes, that thatâs why we were waiting in the bar!â Three times after that people came behind the bar and âAGAINâ no offer of drinks. It was now 30 minutes, and we all decided to just walk out. The waitress ran after one of my friends calling out that she had a table for us now! Disgustedly, we left and wonât be back! Whatâs the old saying âscrew me once shame on you, screw me twice, shame on meâ. Well, Iâve let them do it four times! Never again!
