We have eaten here several times in the last few years and have never had a bad experience. We love their "Killer Tenderloins". They are, in my opinion, the best! They are hand breaded with their own breading recipe, delicious every time. They also do a great job with fish, broiled or fried. Be sure to try their sweet potato fries, they are excellent. The dining room has a family friendly atmosphere and the service is consistently good, we find it a wonderful place to enjoy a meal with friends.

Oakdale Dam Inn is a casual dining family restaurant. We are located on the beautiful Tippecanoe River adjacent to Oakdale Dam which forms Lake Freeman. We serve only USDA Choice hand cut steaks, Fresh USA Farm Raised Catfish, Center Cut Pork Loins, a lar
When you walk in you realize that you have stumbled across a well-worn and beloved establishment. The beer selection is much larger than you would expect, and the burgers...Whew! Best around... They have a fairly wide menu choice, and the service is always with a smile. Try it out! If you don't like it, well, that's more for me!Thank You !!!
I will return here. It was a cute little ice cream / yogurt shop that had everything you would expect, maybe a little more. Delicious frozen yogurt. Some specific ratings below:5/5: Atmosphere. Cute, cozy, and quiet. They also have outside seating (ignore the construction, I'm sure it will be finished soon!) with umbrellas for shade.5/5: Food variety. While I was here just for dessert, I saw a few other patrons ordering real food (cooked, grilled, etc). 5/5: Dessert topping! There are a ton of toppings options here.4/5: The Ice Cream was very good ice cream. They only have two flavors (Vanilla or Chocolate), but it was real soft serve ice cream, not ice milk, or some other substitute.4/5: Prices are about what you would expect. I really like the pay-by-weight system, so you can pretty much load up what you want. It's pricey for a small town, but totally in-line with what I have paid at other similar places in bigger cities.3/5: Variety of desserts needed some help. The sign outside said Gelato - but there is no Gelato here. Out of about 15-20 flavors, there are TWO ice cream flavors (Vanilla and Chocolate), TWO Sorbet flavors, and all the rest is frozen yogurt.2/5: Signage needs help. This is a MINOR issue, but the signs above each flavor don't adequately indicate if it's yogurt, ice cream, etc.Overall, this was a nice place to visit for nice treats, and we will return!

Stone House is indeed worthwhile, a good, clean small-town type diner and restaurant in a nice old building in downtown Delphi. Guess the retirees did it because thatâs who packed it when I stopped in. Quite a line, so lots of people there think itâs great â I just think some of the 'down home' reviews here overrate it a bit, but thatâs just my opinion.I had a working lunch to go to and when I arrived the place was crowded and noisy. The daily special was chicken and noodles, and while we all thought that was going to be greatâ¦they had 3 servings left. Good to be popular but not exactly planning ahead. The menu is vast for breakfast items and lunch sandwiches, cinnamon toast is the way to go, according to regulars â their baked goods are a trademark for sure. All their breads and buns are top-notch, only enhancing the comfort food selections. Our waitress was thoughtful and punctual; she had a great attitude though it looked as though they had a long lunch crowd. Most of my group had the filling breakfast scrambler or an omelet meal, which would be my next choice whenever I get back there. I had a large, breaded tenderloin (a good barometer of any diner) which was large and pretty juicy, not grisly or overdone either. A little too much (but very good wheat) bun for me, and the sides were supposed to make up for not getting the omelet. The cole slaw was well-balanced, not too saucy or sugary, but small serving (everything else we got was ample). The potato salad however, was neither hot nor cold, and was swimming in sauce. Another couple of house and it may have been good. (Never serve potato salad early!) My colleagues wanted pie and all they had was cherry, but it was apparently pretty good. Overall, even if they were out of certain items (guess that's a good sign?) this was an impressive and friendly place for a casual, small town dining experience where you wonât have to spend over $10 to fill up and be happy about it, but all things considered above, not 5 stars (and not a good, quite place for a design meeting!). Nonetheless, Iâll be back and look forward to sampling a variety of their cuisine; maybe the specials and pies will be refilled by then.

We've eaten here a couple times, while shopping/browsing downtown Delphi; and have been very pleased with the experiences. The facility has a great local eatery ambiance; somewhat small, but cozy and historical. Being popular, seating is sometimes tight; but we've never had to wait excessively long. Our servers (Tyler, etc.) have been friendly and attentive. The tenderloin is excellent; as are the burgers and hamburger steak. The hand-cut fries are a wonderful accompaniment to any selection. Both the vanilla malt, and the root beer float, were enjoyed sweet indulgences with our meals. If one wants a tasty meal, at a reasonable price; this is a solid option. This restaurant is a great addendum, to any visit in the interesting downtown- Delphi area.

WE enjoyed our time here on our recent trip during Christmas break. We stopped in for a late lunch. We pretty much had the place to ourselves but that allowed us to explore and enjoy this Pub. The interior is well done. It is a newer establishment but the brick walls make it look aged. We enjoyed the atmosphere. This is not a place we would expect to find in Delphi so we were pleasantly surprised. The drinks we had were inventive. For the Christmas Holiday they had came up with a Peppermint Martini. Think candy cane meets whipped cream and vodka. It was smooth creamy and strong yet very good. We also tried a bowl of their chili and the catfish special they had at the time. Both were well done with a nice salad to accompany the meal. Our server was friendly and attentive. We were very pleased with our experience here. This was a find. We definitely recommend you give it a try. Great atmosphere, food, drinks and service!
