Stepping in to the Blue Bee is leaving current time and space. Sparkling white subway tile walls, gleaming surfaces, stained glass and Victorian booths plus gargantuan portions of food and drink. All fresh, all delicious, all 1921 tea room but better. My daughter and I come here whenever we can and after, shop at the wonderfully retro Stewart's Department store across the street.

We were a bit disappointed in the menu selection for lunch, especially after reading such good reviews. The fries were especially disappointing. On the positive side my Rueben was very good as was my wife's grilled chicken sandwich. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Perhaps we would have enjoyed a breakfast there a little more.

The front is a sometimes busy bar (you can still order food there) and the back is an un-fussy family-type country-esque pub staples restaurant with vaguely Irish leanings. They serve food later than anywhere else I've found in town so it's our go to for that reason sometimes. It's a nice, rustic, everyman and woman and family (in the back) kinda place. Last time we went the bar was standing room only for a lady's 50th birthday party. It was a festive affair for sure. I think they have the best draft beer selection in Delhi.
