We went to III Forks based upon reviews from Trip Advisor and found the restaurant to be âas advertisedâ and more. Service was outstanding - our waiter, Joshua, was everything one could hope for and chatting with him, between courses, made the evening that much more special. When we were deciding on a wine, Joshua invited us into the wine âcellarâ. We were joined there by the sommelier (sorry, forgot his name) who was also very helpful and professional. The wine he recommended was great. Our dinner was delicious- steak, Caesar salad and simply sautéed spinach. We had no room left for dessert!!! Highly recommended. Thanks for the review and for coming to dine with us.

This is a local Austin Texas restaurant patio bar that is one of the most popular in the city. Located in the heart of downtown on Red River Street it is just blocks I'm walking distance from the very most popular points of the downtown area. They have excellent menu food and one of the largest list of spirits available in the state of Texas next. Highly recommend the Sunday brunch which is absolutely incredible. It is a great place to grab drinks and meet up with friends and have a great dinner. It is one of the best run restaurants I've ever seen and has an incredible staff I will take great care of you and all of your needs.

Arrive early to avoid the lines and be prepared for amazing BBQ. The 3 plate option gave a good variety of the menu; lamb, brisket and chicken were my choices and all were excellent. The sides are also tasty especially the jalapeño grits. You sit at picnic tables and share space with strangers however everyone is there to enjoy the food and the space. Grab some paper towels and enjoy!

Exemplary shout out to our server tonight, Jensyn. Warm and sweet hospitality. She was very detailed with her explanation of the menu which always helps make or break a good dining experience. The food is what you would expect from Chef Love, excellent. Order everything at once and let them do the rest as they will course it in a timely fashion. Plates were always removed when finished so there was room for the next course. See photos of what we ordered. Too bad we were too full to order dessert but Jensyn was so sweet she brought us bite sized samples of their chocolate cake which was the perfect way to end such a decadent dinner. Such a memorable way to end our Austin visit.

The brisket and ribs I had were beyond description; juicy, tasty, perfectly seasoned, absolutely the best I've ever tried. Maybe the best red meat I've ever had. I've thought of ordering it online, but who am I kidding? Nothing will replace the spectacular experience of this fresh meal eaten right there with lip-smacking enjoyment. Next visit to Austin, I'm going to Terry Black's straight from the airport.

This placed was talked up by a lot to people but I find it suspicious that on an early Tuesday afternoon a bbq place hailed for their ribs runs out by 1pm. Then the server actually came out and tried to make us eat brisket- nope sorry. Fail Franklin and fail on your stock supplier.

Iâve never tasted anything as delicious as the blueberry cornbread. I also had a jalapeno cheese kolache with a vegan sausage substitute that was just like sausage. My wife had the blueberry muffin and sweet potato tamales. Everything was delicious and healthy. Iâll be going back next time Iâm in town.

Tough to review a place that has had so much said already without repeating. I find the value equation of these high-end multi-city locations to be tilted heavily towards too expensive for the deliverable. I can always go elsewhere and better enjoy the $300 spent here. With big names comes big expectations. Service was predictable but professional. This was the best part -- ALL staff, from the moment we walked in until we walked out the door, took the time and effort to wish us Happy Anniversary. Truluck's knows you have another one next year!
