The store director is far too harsh on the employees in front of customers & will kick customers out. Two of the older managers are rude to customers on a constant basis. Very poor upper management, the newer managers actually know what they are doing, the older managers are lazy and rude.

We visit this restaurant probably once a month. Usually we visit on a weekday evening for dinner or a weekend morning for breakfast -- this visit was the former. The staff was pleasant and smiling. The restaurant was clean. Food service was prompt and the quantity and quality were good. Overall a very good visit, just like usual, that's why we keep going back.

It isn't fancy, nor does it pretend to be. Clean, family run diner with great food and low prices. They have awesome Flint and Detroit style coneys, as well as delicious Greek food. Huge menu variety, and everything has been good. For a simple and quick meal out, great option.

Stopped here for dinner while passing through. The parking lot was full and it looked busy. A typical old style family restaurant with lots of booths. Saw a sign inside that showed it had been around for a long time. Lots to choose from the menu. Nothing that really stood out though. Same with our dinners everything was good but nothing to rave about. A bit of the negative is the condition of the building itself, it did show its age and could use some freshening up. Service was good, priced right and no complaints. Really can't go wrong here but overall just average.

We stopped in for a bite Sunday after a funeral hoping to get some good eats. We were seated promptly & the waitress was immediately there asking for our drink order. Drinks came quick, our dinner order was taken and the food came out in normal time. I tried the coleslaw my buddy had and it was tasty. I had a salad & a 6 pc wing with house rub. Both were good and the wings were naked and rubbed perfectly. One friend had the cod and said it was really good, one had tenders, and the other had something that I donât recall. I remember leaving there and everyone was talking about how nice it was to find a place on the fly and have a great meal.

We have been to this Black Rock several times for both lunch and dinner. The Thousand Island Burger is a favorite lunch for my husband. I lean toward the Crab Cake sandwich or the Lobster Bisque and a side salad. Both are great options for lunch. The steaks are some of the best around for dinner. We like to order the Burgundy Mushrooms as well. Being able to cook your own steak to perfection and warm up your potato on the "hot rock" makes for a great meal. The wine list is very good and provides many options at reasonable price points. It's a worthwhile trip.

Dinner with niece and her daughter. Service was excellent. Food was very good we all had different items. I had the "all you can eat" chicken waitress allowed me to switch back and forth from chicken and riblets. I was quite satisfied. Definitely a good deal

My friends kids were having a 50s father/daughter dance, so we decided to eat here before hand. Itâs a great classic style diner. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious, and everyone was great! We got the kids pancakes n bacon and we ordered hamburgers with no buns ( on keto) lol They were very accommodating with the order and I also ordered their soup of the day which was broccoli n cheese. Everything was great! Will eat here again when we visit the kids!

My friends and I meet once a month for lunch and frequently go to Whiteyâs in Davison. Today the service was horrible. We waited one hour from the time we sat down until we got our food....the fish and chips. Waitress was not friendly and in fact was borderline rude. My tip reflected my displeasure with the service. Do they need more waitresses?

My fish & chips were excellent, but my husband was brought the wrong steak, and the waitress forgot to bring my wedge salad and my son's french fries until we reminded her. Hubby said his steak was very good, however.
