We were looking for something other than typical fast food while driving through Russellville around lunchtime. Brangus was just the fix! We were greeted by a friendly manager and were seated promptly and given peanuts. Our server came quickly and we chose from several nice lunch special options. I ordered chicken fried steak, with mashed potatoes and green beans. My wife ordered the 6oz sirloin with a baked potato. Within just a few minutes, our food arrived and it did not disappoint! Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I think my meal was only $6.99, which was a great deal. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes, which was better than most "fast food" places. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

We almost left before being seated. We were not greeted or acknowledged for quite a while. Once seated though, our server was very friendly. It was different from what we were expecting a restaurant attached to a Clarion Inn to be. It was obviously more bar than restaurant. We were there on Friday night and it seemed to be a popular date destination. Our food was good, but it took a long time to arrive. There were seven in our group and I feel like we probably overwhelmed the kitchen although most of us ordered burgers. Our overall impression was good food, limited menu, but feeling a little out of place and not entirely welcome.

We came up to visit Arkansas Tech for our son and ate here the night before. Was a great decision! Everything about our visit here was perfect from the food to friendly service and I just love the place itself. I would highly recommend coming here! And the quail was amazing!

Of course these are my opinions and are predicated on what I like. First off, the wait staff is excellent. Always there checking on you, very pleasant and helpful. As far as food choices go I have two favorits, the filet and the crawfish conrbread. The filet is very tender with an excellent flavor. The crawfish cornbread (maybe it's because i love cornbread) has a great flavor and is almost more that a person can eat. Both grear meals. They do have other dishes that are excellent as well. And, they do have wine and beer if you are so inclined to partake. Nice restuarant. good food and excellent wait staff. I Highly recommend Pasta Grill.

Fat Daddy's is fabulous barbecue. The one downtown has a great atmosphere, cold beer, and a wider selection than the little one out toward London (which is also great). Try the giant onion rings with some barbecue ranch sauce, or the fried mushrooms with honey mustard as an appetizer. Dig into the barbecue nachos, spuds, or have a fat Daddy sandwich. The sides are incredible. Baked beans are fantastic, and the Suzy Cheesy Taters are legendary. Plate dinners will totally fill you up. And try the Possum Pie for dessert (no road kill was used in this dessert). The wait staff are super friendly and attentive without hovering. You gotta try this place.

Yum. So good! I walked a mile and a half one way to get there from my hotel after having two different local people recommend it, and it was worth every step. The possum pie is amazingly delicious, and the Italian cream cake is phenomenal! Only had desserts, but everything going by looked and smelled really good! The atmosphere is funâloads of character and a friendly vibe from the waitresses.

They have some unusual items on the menu. My wife and I shared the fried mushrooms and the Cajun Crawfish burger, with onion rings. The mushrooms were good, but not great. Onion rings were also good, but not outstanding. I do not believe rings were made on site and not sure about mushrooms. The burger was very good, the crawfish toping was excellent. The burger was overcooked, but overall the burger was very good and very unusual. Service was very good, but there was a very small crowd for early lunch. Place caters more to the night crowd with live music and a great patio/porch that looks out over the river. Would be really great for spring and summer. Certainly worth a try if in the area. Restaurant is located in the old downtown area.

Closed for business as of July 6, 2019. After almost 50 years it is time to end our operation. Our catering company, Plantation Catering, will still be in business.
Limited open times and buffet service -- but get here for the the catfish.Rough old-time place on the bank of the Arkansas River is the perfect place for disaster or something exceptional. Fortunately, for us, this turned out to be exceptional. No liquor license might put off some people but the catfish alone can overcome that deficit. A nice salad bar to start offers everything from lettuce to pickled okra so you will be happy with your selection of greens and toppings. The main seafood buffet is equally broad-ranged from boiled and deep-fried shrimp to frogs's legs. You want it and they likely have it and it's done just right. But the catfish....oh, the catfish. Crispy, flaky, tender, delicious, and done just right. A full 10 out of 10 on that dish.....actually it took several dishes of that sparkling fish to get me to stop heading back for more. Service is pretty ok. Decor is old-timey fishing camp with the carless feel of a casual housekeeping. Catfish N has been here since 1971 and seems to be all original so no surprise on the rough feel.Silverware is a fork only but that seemed to work well on that simply delicious, over-the-top catfish so no complaints at all. Prices are just about right for the excellent meal we experienced.

The restaurant was packed when we arrived at 1pm (it slowly cleared out) but the service was fast. We had a taco salad and chicken fajitas salad, both were excellent. The only complaint was just one bathroom stall.
