We were looking for a happy hour; how fortunate to have picked the White Dog!Customers ranged from college-age to us (whose sons are long out of college), and everyone happily co-existed. The happy hour menu was awesome; we chose oysters on the half shell and added hummus as the evening progressed. Service was excellent, the bar staff was charming and efficient. The only negative was the noise; while those brick walls are elegant and charming, they reflect and magnify those many conversations - maybe hang some tapestries or similar? But regardless, we'll most surely be returning!

Arden was our server and she was very sweet and very attentive. Four of us dined. We started with raw clams and stuffed clams which were very good. Entrees were stuffed surf and turf and baked stuffed shrimp. All was great. Will be back on my next trip back home to Philly.

Bernice is a first class eating experience. I recommend small plates shared between friends so you can experience several dishes and experience to explosion of tastes and textures of the varied menus selection. The serving staff was helpful and knowledgeable about all the dishes and the eating experience.

So we ((Animal Friends of Lansdowne) meet here every be month, for dinner before our meeting. Service is good, seems as if they have a turrnover. Food is pretty good. A favorite are the chicken tenders appetizer. Nice portion. Some of the family food is be overpriced, for a dinfhhhWe go there monthly. , BWe go monthly, before our meeting b(Animal Friends of Lansdowne). Same favorite is the chicken tenders appetizer. Went for breakfast with friends. Asked for 3 eggs, 1 scrambled, 2 over medium. Waitress refused saying they won't do that, and management told them not to take orders like this. Huh? Said she would check with the cook. Came back said he won't do it because it's too busy!! I always go with 6-8 friends, and two weeks ago they made this order. What gives, all of a sudden an extra egg is to much to make for a customer??? Couldn't believe an extra egg was REFUSED, even though I'm paying for it. Will go to elsewhere from now on.

I visit this diner about 3-4 times a month. The food is good and the portions are large. The prices on the daily specials are very budget friendly. Most of the waitresses have been there for a while and are very pleasant and efficient. The management is very personable and quick to address and concerns or complaints. You have to try the tasty baked goods such as the enormous cakes and pies or pastries that are baked on-site daily. Visit the Empire Diner today. You will be glad that you did.

I ate at the Philly airport in one of my major standby restaurantsâ¦Legal Sea Food. Today I had the pleasure of working with Syeeda G. as my server!!! Oh My God!!! (OMG) Syeeda was exceptional!!!! An unbelievable personality!!!........ Able to project a super conversation,â¦â¦â¦.. very adept at knowing the culinary side of her job and also recommending specific drinks for specific foods!!! She was literally the BEST!!!!! Syeeda is a major reason I continue to dine with Legal when flying through the airport!!! It gives me comfort to know that Iâll have a super-server to lead me through this great food and drink experience!!! I had a couple of different Sangrias, recommended by Syeeda and also had the great clam chowder and then a special watermelon/shrimp salad!!!!! It was super exceptional and very tasty!!!!!! I ended up with a watermelon based drink to keep hydrated as I consumed the salad!!! Everything about this experience today was great!!!!!! Thanks again to the cooks, servers, and everyone who works here to make this a cool place but mostlyâ¦.thanks to Syeeda G. for giving me a memorable experience here!!! Iâll be back!!!!!!

Have been going here for decades...I remember when they had 20 steamed shrimp for $3.50 and 35 cent drafts,back in the 70âs...now itâs more expensive,but still good...Iâd like to see them stay open a little later at night...I like to eat late...have never had a bad meal here.

sign on the outside, best cheese steaks. ordered one. While the taste is adequate, its not a cheese steak. its is hamburger meat grilled, it crumbles all over, its not thin layers of steaks. So, to me NOT the best cheese steaks.

Husbandâs cassoulet was excellent my steak frites was ok. The French fries ( I ordered them without the truffles so got basic fries. Over cooked and nothing special. The creamer brûlée had good texture, but too much vanilla. Very attractive restaurant, a bit too loud. Good service.
