First time to visit after the new ownership. The waitress was well informed and helpful. She tempted us with red snapper, fresh from the gulf that had been delivered late the night before. Also, the succotash was all fresh and outstanding. We wish smaller portions and a bit better pricing could be considered. Orange rolls did not disappoint.

We stopped at this restaurant while passing through Cullman, AL. Our server was so friendly and helpful. He was great! The food was delicious and the steaks were cooked properly (which is no small feat, judging from what we get at most steakhouses!). We enjoyed our visit and would recommend this restaurant to others! We're glad to hear that, Pamela. Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We look forward to serving you again soon.

Their chicken salad is to die for. They are fast when you order and the taste is usually the best in town for good ole chicken salad. Great for party time, especially when you are rushed or undecided at the last minute. Always goes a long way, too...Thanks for your enthusiastic review! We roast out our chicken breasts in house and make the chicken salad from scratch daily. We sell the chicken salad and other products by the pint and quart in our quick and easy Grab n Go case. Thanks again!

I think we have found a new favorite spot! Great food drinks and service! #412publichouse . Now we donât have to go to Huntsville or Birmingham for this quality experience! We had the two seafood specials , drum fish and amberjack both were excellently prepared. Drinks were special ( the 50 caliber), and there desert blueberry flapjack cake was decadent and satisfying. We will be back!

A group of our Seniors visited here for lunch last week and were delighted at the food and service. I had the hamburger steak and onion gravy & delicious vegetables on the side. My husband had the ham and cheese quiche and cheese grits. Everything was hot and fresh.

Rumors Deli. A local, family owned business has been in operation since July of 2000. Rumors has become a favorite of locals and visitors alike. Open Monday - Friday 7am-3pm and Saturday 10am-3pm. Rumors features ample seating to accommodate small to larg
The portion sizes have shrunk. Customer service has tanked. This new location has put additional overhead on the owner so she is just passing it on to the customer. Their so called combos don't include a drink anymore. We use to look forward to eating here. Now it's just an afterthought as we drive by to get our hard earned moneys worth somewhere else. Many of our friends have gone there and are very disappointed. Voicing your concerns gets you a dirty look and a very less than authentic apology. They relocated to a newly renovated location. The attitude of the owner changed dramatically. The food quality has faltered. Annette actually raised their prices on their combos and removed the beverage as part of the combo. A 12 oz. beverage is 2.39. Non insulated cup. The ice melts before you get out of the parking lot. The sandwiches have not been the same since the move. I've had mine look like it was soaked in water when I unwrap it. I have shown this twice to them. They replaced it the first time. The second time I was told it was because of the ingredients. Well, if you know it's an issue, adjust your quantities. Firehouse Subs selection is quite large and much better quality. Plus, a portion of every sale goes to funding local fire departments. Their prices are much more in line for what you get. It's a shame that when a business moves to a larger place that they must pass their overhead costs onto the customer. Less food, lower quality food and no beverage, but yet the price goes up almost a $1. Explain that one.I would like to address your concern. I apologize for your bad experiences. I only wish you had asked for me specifically. You know my name (Annette) so any issues I would gladly take care of. I would have absolutely LOVED to have spoken to you and you would have not gotten a dirty look from me and any employee that did that to you would have definitely been reprimanded immediately. I can't fix what I don't know.First...about the combo pricing....We changed the combo to not include the drink, true, but we went down on the price for a sandwich and side due to that fact. Many people that get "to go" orders don't want a drink, so we left it as a choice. A lot of places charge separately for the drink. We did not go up because we moved. I base my pricing on what things cost me and from time to time, everything we use goes up. Once a year, Pepsi products go up, meat, cheese, produce, etc. goes up as well and sometimes more than once a year. We don't always adjust for each price increase I have. Tomatoes for example will fluctuate from 17.00 a case to as much as 52.00 a case within a year. You can ask any business that sells them. You say my attitude has changed...again, speak with me personally either in person, via fb message or call. I'm here to listen and do what it takes to satisfy as this business has been my life for coming upon 20 years. The drinks are actually 20 oz., not 12 oz. Yes we changed the cups because of several reasons. Styrofoam is nice, but we liked the look of the other cup and its biodegradable where Styrofoam isn't. We are slowly changing all that over, one thing at a time. If the sandwiches were not the same, soggy, etc. again...please allow me to fix it and let me personally know. Its very important to me. I go through a lot of employees as do most food establishments and they aren't always going to give you the right answer, even though trained. I like Firehouse Subs as well. They are a chain and can do things differently than an independently owned , non franchise place. We help the community in many other ways. We offer 10% off to veterans and active military, we donate as much as we can to local schools and organizations. You get no less food than you did at the other place. Its a fact. I am very picky about that. Once again...if you have any issue that you feel an employee can't answer or handle, PLEASE ask for me as I am here 99% of the time. You asked me to explain and I did. My heart and soul is in this place and what I don't know, I can't do anything about. Please contact me with any more issues or problems you have.Annette Harris-ownerWe were making a new menu for the new place and decided that was a good time to make any adjustments (which was removing the drink and going down on the combo) at that time.

Brandin Iron Steakhouse Provides Steaks, Chicken, Pork Chops, Sandwiches, Fish & Shrimp and Salads to the Cullman, AL Area.
My family and I visited the Brandin Iron Steakhouse for a quick lunch on the way to Ave Maria Grotto. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is western and fun. The prices are extremely affordable during lunch, as well. You can view their online menu to see their selections and prices. They offer a salad bar which was very fresh. I ordered a sirloin and baked potato. It was pretty good. Everyone in my party agreed that the food was good, not great. Service was so so. The Brandin Iron is a good place for a cheap lunch if you are in the Cullman area.

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
Good food. Service is ok. Management has changed and you can feel the difference in satisfaction level. Gypsy had that place humming like a well oiled machine. Now its sputtering like a engine miss.

There doesn t seem to be much known about the early history of Johnny s Bar-B-Q other than a man by the name of Johnny Graves began the business sometime ago. Many tales exist about the early days. One of those is told by Lucille Justice, a faithful emplo
Love their Bbq. Their sauce is a sweet sauce which I think is the best. It is not bitter or overpowering. In my opionion they kinda skimp on the amount Bbq their sandwiches but I always enjoy it. Prices are kinda high to me for buying it by the pound to bring home to eat. But meat is always good. Not dry

There was a short wait, but it was well worth it! The food was SO good! If I ever travel this way again, I will definitely stop. Salmon cakes and coconut shrimp are the BEST.
