Things to do in Cudahy
Let's admit that there are few options for fresh, decent, breakfast and lunch south of Layton in the OC (Oak Creek) and Cudahy area! Uncanny soup seemed to have recently closed and I stumbled upon this place in search for decent soup and sandwich in the OC area by accident as my dry cleaner is next door in this non-descript, industrial mini-strip of businesses near the airport. Wow! What a fantastic surprise! The soups are made fresh daily and they sell the day old soup in the cooler to go as well as delicious and plentiful entrees. Everything is super fresh and made with quality ingredients - what a concept!! They have pre-made pizzas and purple door ice cream too! I also recently discovered their breakfast options as well and I had a breakfast burrito that was made to order which was worth the short wait. Keep making fresh, delicious soups, salads, wraps, entrees as you're my only option for decent food in the area! I love soups and the beef barley soup is one of the best I've had in a long time!!
Been looking for a place with good baked fish all summer. Finally found a great place in Cudahy. The fish was browned on top but was moist and tender inside. Served with french fries or potato pancakes. Our server, Nicole, was right there to take our drink order when we walked in. She was attentive and very friendly throughout our visit even though there were quite a few other customers. She was the only server. Will definately go back.

it is old throwback for sure but nothing special. Food was average. Service was rather slow & it was not busy. No beer on tap - all bottles. Tenderloin steak was very good - tenderloin tips good & chicken livers were a different item on a menu but enjoyable.

We had heard good things about the roast beef dinner for Sunday dinner. We had a shrimp appeitizer which was excellent. My partner and I each order the breef dinner medium well. My partner's came medium well but, mine came rare and bleeding on the plate. Instead of replacing the meat the server brought a plate took my meat back to the kitchen. Needless to say I had the meat packed up and I took it home to cook. The Yorkshire puddings are about the size of a salad plate somewhat tasty but very burnt around the edges.

I live out of town and a Groupon deal brought me here initially a year ago for the burger special for two. I decided I had to return again when I was in Milwaukee visiting family and four of us enjoyed their fabulous burger baskets. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared and our server Jessie did a great job in seeing that we were well taken care. The friendly neighborhood bar was actually pretty busy with football and basketball games on TV and several people enjoying food and drinks. Definitely will return again!!

My husband had Pork Slawsome - Flavorful, fries a plenty (hand cut) with a great slaw! I had Smoked Salmon Hash. I requested my eggs scrambled, which Iâm quite sure is some sort of crime but my wish was granted without so much as a wrinkled nose. My hash was awesome, I would probably request a wee bit more horseradish cream if I were to get a chance to eat there again. And I would LOVE to eat there again. We also shared a house salad which was huge. The food was delivered quickly by a very nice waitress whoâs name Iâve forgotten but maybe weâll see her in Hawaii one day!

St. Francis Brewery & Restaurant has been serving heavenly food and sinfully good beer to the St. Francis and Milwaukee community since April 2009. As a locally owned business, our restaurant creates a warm, family-friendly dining experience. Our full men
This is a nice place for a decent brunch buffet. There's a good variety and good quality, something for everyone and reasonably priced. I suggest going at a more earlier time than later. The dishes are empty and stations a bit slow with service when nearing the end.

I went with my family of 5 for a Friday fish fry and wax terribly disappointed. We arrived st 4:30pm before the rush to avoid any mishaps. The hostess was very hospitable and that was the only good element of our visit. The waitress was nice, but also became responsible to helping a table if 12. Took our order, very quiet voice and had to ask her to keep repeating herself. When the food arrived, the fish was room temperature and the fries were cold. Our food must have been under the heat lamp for a few minutes. When mentioned numerous times that the food was cold, no one did anything to correct. The walleye appeared to have Lawrys seasoned salt and paprika, I couldnât done that myself at home!!! When 4/5 of the fish frys are st room temperature, this is a problem. The hostess came to our table when we completed our meal and asked if we were getting ready to leave because they were waiting for the table. I thought she was apologizing fir the poor quality of food. I was wrong. Never have I been treated like that. Needless to say, I will never go back. Poor service and poor quality is the equation for dissaster.

Never disappoints! We always visit here the evening before our flights for vacation, now a tradition. Rare these days to meet people at the bar before ones meal, yet at this place we always make new friends. Then the dinner, you cannot beat the service from âPennies from heavenâ, I believe has been here 41 years?,, Love the duck , the steaks are great, and you simply cannot beat the âsupper clubâ ambiance of old days We truly appreciate your wonderful review! So glad you enjoy the ambiance and meeting new friends. So honored that we have become a tradition for you. Surely everyone loves Penny, a long-standing Packing House tradition of her own. We look forward to seeing you again on your next trip!
