Spent an afternoon lunchtime with a group at Blue Mountain Brewery. Even though the place is smack-dab on the highway, the mountain views are still nice. There is lots of parking and some available yard space for families to play corn hole and such. Since the day was so gorgeous, we opted to eat outdoors under umbrellas, but there is a fair amount of indoor seating, too. I'm not a fan of having to eat with everyone's dogs, but this seems to be all the rage right now. I didn't try any beer, so I can't comment on the brews. The food was decent, but the menu left a bit to be desired. Everything was pretty much a sandwich or pizza, so there are not a lot of options for anyone hoping to avoid bread. Prices were higher than I would have preferred, but they were probably fairly average for this type of place.

We go here for the seafood. The fish is always fresh, well prepared, and with a sauce you can't duplicate at home. Service is usually good. Ambiance is dated and it is a noisy place. A strict no reservations policy means you shoul get there before 7:00 PM to get a seat. Always crowded but the food is the reason. Go there!

Duner's has perfected the art of casual fine dining. Now that they take reservations, you can actually get a table at a reasonable time without waiting. Dress is casual, but the food is not. Superbly prepared softshell crabs, halibut resting on a wonderful tomato-based sauce, garnishes like fresh corn kernels scraped off the cob and not overcooked. Service is friendly and attentive. There's a good neighborhood vibe here. The only downside is that it can get quite loud.

Waylandâs Tavern, located in Crozet, VA, was founded in 2017 with the simple purpose of serving great food and drinks in a relaxing, laid back atmosphere. Sliders, craft beers, local wines, bar snacks, and raw oysters steal the spotlight but with options
First time visitors. Good Chile wine by the glass. Decent pour for $8.00. The gazpacho was excellent. The cup size was quite large. Chicken tikka was different with a kebab as the main part of the course. Spice level was sufficient and quite tasty. Filet was perfectly cooked and seasoned and at $19 it is a bargain. Chef is willing to make substitutions - just ask. We will be back soon. Recommended.

Sam's Hot Dog Stand of Crozet is an all American old fashioned hot dog and burger joint. We specialize in our all beef hot dogs topped with our signature homemade chili sauces (spicy or mild) Fresh Diced Onions, And our homemade Cole Slaw shredded and mad
The quality is always consistent every time you visit. The staff is very cordial and helpful. They really seem sincere you chose them. I have tried other items on the menu and they are equally as good, but the hot dog with onions, mustard and spicey chili is out of sight. One more thing, the dogs are not messy!

It was almost empty when we arrived at 5pm, and a waiting list by the time we left. The outdoor seating would have been nice, but it was too windy and chilly during our visit. I felt the service was very good, but the food only average. I had the steak frites. While it was cooked about right, it didnât have a lot of flavor. Like most restaurants, there was an over abundance of fries used to fill one up, and a lack of vegetables. The flat breads were ok, but nothing special. The Mac & cheese was very good as was the spinach and artichoke dip. I felt the wine was too pricey for a house wine and the type restaurant Rooftop is.

It's fun to browse here... they have an extensive collection of wine and beer at affordable prices. not different than the grocery store. Lots of other gourmet items that are overpriced. We bought some local cheese,, very good and local sausage... haven't tried it yet. They also have take out food... we didn't try that. As previous reviewers have noted the staff is not overly friendly or attentive.

My family often cannot agree on a restaurant we all like, but all of us like Smoked. They love the brisket and pork and other meat sandwiches, while I love their sides, including broccoli salad, roasted cauliflower, and sweet potato. Even better, the food comes out very quickly. My husband also enjoys local beer options.

At Fardowners, we provide quality pub fare & a welcoming casual atmosphere. Chef Mark Cosgrove sources local ingredients in season & our rotating selection of craft beer emphasizes Virginia breweries. Fardowners is a great place to take the family for din
my friends enjoyed the dark beer. we were all intrigued by the menu. needed just something light and the slider size pork bbq and burger filled the bill. french fries were excellent the edamame potstickers were unique and tasty. would order again although the sauce had just a bit too much of a biteonly down side is we were looking for a quick lunch and though the service was very good the food came out slowly when it didnt appear to be that busylots of fun names for the dishes offered
