Waited 15 minutes before the waitress came by. Another 15 minutes before our drinks arrived. The trainee brought our food, he was doing pretty good!

I drive through this town headed west to Memphis and beyond. I had found a favorite breakfast place but today it was so crowded I couldn't get through the door. I back tracked to search for breakfast and discovered White Trolley. I've seen comments about slug burgers but never tried (onion) sandwich. White Trolley had them for 85 cents, which is the reason. This place at 8am caters to the tradesmen stopping to get fueled up before work. When I said I wanted something to go, they seemed to go into high gear to take care of my needs quickly. There are a few tables but most sit at a bar. Two elderly women were the cooks and I could watch from the bar. They knew what to do and did it well. The restroom? I was ushered behind the counter and directed to "the back." Nothing fancy and maybe quaint, but my breakfast prepared by "professionals" cost $2.83 and that's with tax. I noticed that the owner of thirty years was retiring soon and selling the cafe to the young man who took my order, brought the meal and took my payment.

Great food, tasty, good portions, everything was freshly made. A nice change from fast-food sandwiches, desserts were good too! Would definitely eat there again when in town.

Drove 2 hours to eat here. Never disappoints. By far, the best steak around. Nothing in Fayette County compares. There is NO STEAK place better than Russellâs. The filet is sinfully delicious. Prepared EXACTLY how you order. The bread is awesome as well.

One of the first questions we always ask when staying overnight in a new town, is about locally owned places that have good food, good service and aren't overly expensive. Taylor's Escape was recommended to us by our hotel staff. Service was excellent though the one waitress seemed to have the entire floor. Hubby had a catfish plate, with shrimp on the side, and said that the catfish was "just right!" I had the grilled chicken plate with baked beans which were on the sweet side. We'd come here again if we ever return to Corinth.

The staff was very attentive, helpful. Meals were fine, but my catfish had been overcooked prior to ordering and was cold, tough. Hushpuppies were also cold.Other items were fine and hot. Was a busy night on Jan 1, a holiday, so perhaps not normal.

If the shrimp boat wasnât recommended by locals we would have kept on driving. Isnât it funny how we usually link the appearance of something with its actual quality or worth. The shrimp boat isnât pretty, the decor is eclectic, but the restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food we had was delicious. We had a shrimp poboy and a gumbo that was packed full of seafood and taste. Thinking of going back through Corinth just to drop in for another meal. The night we went, the restaurant was busy and the takeout was doing a roaring trade.

We are traveling through and stopped for lunch. The food was good, but the spinach dip was AMAZING!!! Their homemade tortilla chips were corn so I could eat them being gluten free. My husband really enjoyed his Third Date without the bread. Their creme brulee was okay, not very firm, but they put an extra thick sugar layer on top that was nice. The sweet potato fries had good flavor, but not crisp so they get soggy as they cool. Weston was our server and he was very sweet and took good care of us.

I have ate at Rib Shack several times for dinner, but this restaurant merits an excellent view for its lunch options. I had a BBQ plate (pulled pork sandwich, BBQ beans, and slaw) which was one of the lunch specials. Your drink is included and they have desserts for sale. If youâre in Corinth you canât miss if you eat at Rib Shack.

If you like the food and feel of an old diner then this is a for sure destination. Burgers were delicious, juicy, tasty, all the toppings were fresh and delicious. The folks who run the place are friendly, took time to stop and talk to us. French fries were great, if you like em crisply ask for that when you order. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were tasty! We will absolutely be back the next time we are in town.
