I ate here each morning while visiting Cooperstown last weekend. The downtown restaurants are crowded and noisy. Plus you get an excellent view of the lake when you sit outside, which I did for all 4 meals. I enjoyed the crab benedict twice and went with eggs and the homemade corned beef hash. All were excellent. For dinner, I went with the stuffed lobster which was also very good. The only reason I did not rate this with 5 stars was for the most part the service was very good and friendly except the last morning. I was served coffee upon being seated and did not see the server again for a good 15 to 20 minutes. She apologized and admitted that she had forgotten me. I placed my order and after 30 minutes no food. I was just getting ready to leave when she brought my breakfast. Despite that episode, I will return again when I visit next year. It is a little pricey but you do have that view! Would recommend dinner reservations on the weekends.

Cooley's is conveniently located just around the block from the Hall of Fame. It is solidly good, although the beer selection is limited. My wife's burger was overcooked, but my chicken sandwich and the chili we shared were both excellent. I'd recommend, but my wife didn't care for it. YMMV.

We thought this was aTourist restaurant . Ended up there late after a day on the lake. We live 30 minutes from Cooperstown. Knowing my wife does not cook and only searches for restaurants, we tried it and liked it. 11 of us, ALL had great cuisine. the Prime Rib was unreal... several had this, most had various dishes. Decor is so very good, a real Baseball town, but this place, someone spent some serious money on. Great looking bar, with so many beers( Baseball people ) , but great bar. Full, at about 10 PM. would go back in a heartbeat. If still beating... Enjoy

The salad was limp and the prime rib over cooked and gray. This was a special occasion, but the meal was certainly not special. Overall a disappointing and over-priced meal. Dawn, We are sorry your special occasion was not everything you could have wished it to be. Please feel free to contact me directly and I can help with a more appropriate celebration.Thank you

We had to have reservations and after eating there we could understand why. There were four in our party and everyone said their food was exceptional. I had the baked Haddock and it came with wonderful carrots, mashed potatoes, salad and bread. All the flavors were outstanding. We would definitely eat here again!!

The Doubleday Cafe is open year round, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. We offer a chalk board of specials for all three meals. With seating of about 70; we also offer a fine selection of beer, wine, and top shelf liquors. Our goals
Been here years and years ago and decided to have breakfast there again. Had a great egg, cheese sausage sandwich on a large english muffin.Fried egg was cooked just the way we like, oozy yolk, the way the server suggested if we liked it that way. And we did! My food traveling partner had the same with bacon and side of the potatoes. The potatoes were only slightly warm but ok. The coffee also was very good and they were very good about refilling your cup over and over. We also stopped in at the bar for a beer and the bartender was as friendly as could be as well as all the servers.

Excellent menu of craft brews and delicious food!! Staff was very attentive and were very engaging. I suggest you sit in the front room with the bar; closer to the tappers and lots of windows and light. Located just a couple of short miles southeast of downtown Cooperstown on Hwy 28. Thank you!!

We are a hip, family owned, coffee roastery and Cafe in Cooperstown, NY. We are open year round and pride ourselves on fresh, locally sourced foods and wonderful coffee drinks!
Stopped in about 10:15 on a Sunday morning. Just off central Main Street toward lake. Lunch menu does not start until 11. Ordered drinks and they arrived quickly. Ordered food and it took over 30 minutes. Very busy. Our breakfast sandwiches were good but not worth waiting that long. Smoothies especially good. The blueberry smoothie is made with blueberries, Cobani yogurt, and honey. Good Morning Marko,Thank you for taking a minute to let us know about your visit to Stagecoach. We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed your items and that your drinks arrived quickly. We agree that on Sunday mornings we are very busy and it causes longer ticket times from the food station. We are sorry that your food took 30 minutes. We do our best to make our food fresh to order and serve it as quickly as possible. We hope you'll give us another shot. If you are in a rush you can call your order in and pay ahead of time to skip the line. Have a terrific day.Matt

Ambiance is amazing! Food even better. Amidst the drool pickings of Cooperstown (exceptional Italian at Nicolles excepted), this place is a shining star. The quinoa salad is great.
