Reviews on American food in Cody, Wyoming, United States. Cody, named for its legendary founder, Buffalo Bill Cody, remains as full of Old West adventure as it was during the days when Bill himself roamed Wyoming. Serving as the Eastern gateway to Yellowstone National Park, Cody is just a few miles away from pristine wilderness where actual buffalo can still be seen. The town attracts tourists and cowboys alike with reenactments of famous shoot-outs, restored frontier buildings and with the Cody Stampede, which the town hosts every July 4.

We trusted the reviews for Irmas on Trip Advisor, but we were sorely disappointed. Our food was lukewarm and bland. Granted it was the end of lunchtime and we chose not to eat off the buffet, but our food quality was below par. The appetizer platter was overcooked and my Rocky Mountain Oysters were cold and tough. (Texans are picky about their Mountain Oysters!) the building is intersting and historical but needs some restoration and cleaning.

The front desk at our motel recommended Cassie's and he was right on. The service was efficient and friendly. We had both steak and shrimp- both cooked to perfection. Try the side of rice! The nightly entertainment was local talent but we did enjoy watching the cowboys and their gals on the dance floor Saturday night.

My wife and I were eating there today and overheard the owner tell a co worker, she was tired of the tourists and can't wait for them to be gone. I am sorry I had already eaten and paid my bill. We left Cody immediately. What an ungrateful proprietor. As always, there is more to this story. I immediately apologized to you and explained my comment was not directed at you. After a very busy and stressful summer, my staff is exhausted. We have an extreme labor shortage in our area and my staff has worked 6 and 7 days a week. We are ready for summer to slow down.Again, I am truly sorry I offended you. You seemed like a very nice man

Stopped in around 8:30 pm on a Tuesday night following a long day at Yellowstone. Order a couple of beers. My wife order the chicken quesadilla and I ordered the burger with fries. Both meals were average. The atmosphere was just okay. They did have live music on the patio but we decided to sit indoors. The waitress was great and service was quick. I might stop by again if in the area.

We stopped during lunchtime and had breakfast, eggs, hash browns, fruit, toast. Eggs were average except for the shell fragments. Hash browns had no flavor and it was a very small serving...less than the diameter of an egg. The fruit my was 2 strawberries and a piece of pineapple. It fit in a to go sauce cup. My Rye toast was the best part of the meal. The place looks like it needs a thorough cleaning. The good news is that it is not expensive. We wonât eat here again.

We were staying at the 'other' Best Western in Cody - they recommended this one for dining. Upon our arrival a little after 1 pm the Hosstess said, the kitchen closes at 2, I'll seat you but please look at the menu and be ready to order when the server comes to your table. Wait, what?? Really?? We did peruse the menu, made our choice and waited at least 10 minutes before the server even arrived at our table to even give us water. The food was good, but the first impression from the hostess was not!

Bubba's is only an hourâs drive from spectacular Yellowstone National Park. If you're looking for mouth-watering, hickory-smoked meats, look no further than Bubba's Bar-B-Que. Enjoy in the restaurant, or take it with you for picnics and road trips -- our
The menu has good options and variety. We ordered a bowl of chili and bowl of bean soup, pulled pork, beef brisket and baked potatoes. The food was excellent and portions were large. Would definitely recommend.

Irish Brewpub, serving 15 craft brews on tab and a menu with an Irish flare.
Nice little microbrewery. Good pub food. Friendly waitstaff. Good selection of draft beers. Outdoor seating is very dog friendly. Seems to be popular with locals.

Small restaurant with a great atmosphere. The delicious homestyle meals include Breakfast and Lunch!!!
Located right across the street from where I was staying. Walked in placed my name on the waiting list. After about a ten minute wait was seated and coffee was ordered and delivered quickly. I ordered the Biscuits and gravy with hash browns. My wife ordered the vegetable omelet with toast and bacon. Both meals were delivered hot and quick. Overall a great visit with a good staff. I would go back if in Cody...A side note: They sell Red Friday Tee-Shirts. Make sure you ask and pick one up on your way out...

We were here for lunch one day and went back for dinner another day. Amidst the honky tonk tourist buffet this was an oasis of local, fresh and well prepared food.
