Coatbridge (Scots: Cotbrig or Coatbrig, Scottish Gaelic: Drochaid a' Chòta) is a town in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, about 8.5 miles (13.7 km) east of Glasgow city centre, set in the central Lowlands. The town, with neighbouring Airdrie, is part of the Greater Glasgow urban area. While the earliest known settlement of the area dates back to the Stone Age era, the founding of the town can be traced to the 12th century, when a Royal Charter was granted to the monks of Newbattle Abbey by King Malcolm IV. Coatbridge, along with its neighbour Airdrie, forms the area known as the Monklands.

Yes we enjoyed it but at our age we just couldn't read the menu. We sat in an area at the window which was very dark which made it even harder to read. The food was lovely though

We took our grandson here tonight for a treat as he likes TGIs, this was a big mistake!!The place was really dirty floor was covered in litter with no attempt to clean it. Tables were wiped but I had to clean our seats whilst our server stood and watched.Service was slow, food under heat lamps for ages in fact when my husband got his main meal he couldn't cut the chicken so it got sent back so we all finished our meal before his came back not good!!We were given a 25% discount on our bill but to be honest I dont think that was enough.Everything in this place was shambolic, service. food, cleanliness not what I expected this place has dramatically gone down hill.We wont be back, you have all been warned

Fancied trying something different so took a trip from Edinburgh for this place - certainly wasnât disappointed!The staff are kind and helpful, service was good too. The food arrived in about 15 mins or so. I went for one of their âsuper burgersâ, the stacked beef burger and a side of poutine chips - both really nice. Was too full to have dessert - maybe next time. Wouldnât hesitate going back!

Had dinner in Culdesac on Friday night. My friend and I both had strawberry daiquiri's and i can honestly say was one of the best cocktails I've had in a while. We both had two courses,there was a few specials on, I had one of the specials which was the peppered steak pie (Il get back to that one). To start my friend had the chicken tempura and I had the chilli meatballs both of us really enjoyed our starters and you can tell the food is cooked fresh here,they were delicious. For the mains my friend had chicken fajitas and I had the special which was peppered steak pie,this was amazing I have never tasted anything like this,it was so good, I have never heard of this before but would highly recommend this to anyone. When we got the bill the waitress had given us the 2 course deal which she didn't have to do as the special wasn't part of it. Our bill came to just under £35 and I would've payed more as we really enjoyed our meals,the atmosphere was great and the staff were lovely(so friendly and very welcoming).if your looking for amazing fresh food with a twist and reasonably priced I would definitely recommend this place.

We visited this place based on recommendations from other people and were definitely not disappointed. A very hidden jem! I ordered a chicken burger with chilli mince in it and nachos and just wow! Beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious. The chilli and cheese topped fries were also extremely yummy and a great sized portion.So do yourself a favour and go here!I'll 1000% be back very soon.
