Tenafly Classic Diner has been serving the community since 2002. Our credo is "Comforting, yet sophisticated", and that means we make every effort to serve you the best comfort food diners are famous for, but with an eye towards the sophisticated palette,
Name kinda says it all. Big floppy plastic menu, booths that might be sticky, fluorescent lighting overhead, good omelets, portion sizes that should be for family of four ... your typical Joisey diner
This cafe in the little downtown of Haworth, NJ always offers quality food at reasonable prices. It has about a half dozen tables but also does a thriving takeout business. It is open until late afternoon six days a week.We love their three kinds of omelets and pancakes for breakfast as well as egg sandwiches to go. The luncheon menu offers various kinds of sandwiches and salads with a different twist. There are also specials and a soup of the day. We have also used them for sandwich platters for special occasions. They have been around for several years now and we hope for many more.

This is a busy, family-owned and operated restaurant with daily specials and fundraising opportunities. Go on Mondays and tell them you support DHS! My husband and son love the prime rib - but Iâm all about the Swiss cheese burger! Itâs juicy and delicious and (shhh!) better than Zinburgerâs! Pasta and chicken dishes are all good!

I came here with my teenagers for a Sunday lunch. There is such a wide variety of food items on the menu that we ordered mostly appetizers and split them all. Caesar salad was average but fresh and satisfying. Loaded fries with pulled pork was one of our favorites as was the garlic shrimp served with corn souffle. Either of those items could easily be a full meal. The blue cheese coleslaw, fresh pork rinds and homemade potato chips were ....meh. The buffalo wings were very good. Service was friendly, the restaurant , bar area and bathrooms were all very clean. Street parking is available and free.

Family Restaurant and Craft Beer House. Famous for Our Thin Crust Pizza and Pots of Mussels. Pizza Night is every Tuesday!
While visiting friends we decided to order an appetizer for take out. We agreed that mussels would be a great for our group. Someone recommended this Cafe so we ordered mild and spicy mussels. Not only did we receive an abundance of well prepared mussels, but the sauce alone was tasty and plentiful. Four of us ate the mussels and there was plenty for each of us. The cost was unbelievably low and the wait time was acceptable. I definitely recommend this cafe and look forward to ordering more mussels and other dishes from the Grant Street Cafe.

This place always amazes me. Excellent service with delicious food. Staff is knowledgeable about the menu and give great recommendations based on your preferences. Really nice atmosphere. Fancy in the main dining room with a more relaxed atmosphere at the bar. Will keep returning again and again.

Where: The Farm Stand, 100 Old Hook Road, Closter, NJWhat: The Farm BurgerBuild: 8oz Angus beef patty, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, raw onion, dab of mustard, fresh egg roll. Comment: Can you say "JUICY"? Holy crap I could have used a full length apron while eating this burger! But I'm getting ahead of myself, check out my photos of one of the coolest burger joints in Jersey. If this place was in Kansas, Auntie Em would shop here. I landed here via a tip from a coworker who lives near the place. From far away this place looks abandoned, but to my surprise it's not only an active farm stand, they are cooking all sorts of homemade comfort foods inside. As we pulled up to the place the skies darkened adding an eerie sort of feel which made things even more interesting and by the time we passed by the outdoor seating (full of little pumpkins and cast iron pot-belly stoves), I knew we were in for some really good food. Our Hostess Michele could not have been nicer which made the whole experience even better. Upon entering, you are surrounded by homemade pies, jams, tomato sauce, honey, cakes, cookies, mac & cheese, hot dogs w/sauerkraut, chili, steak sandwiches, pot pies, etc. The items list is stunning for such a small place. There are a few country-style wooden kitchen tables for seating that take the down-home country feel you got walking through the door even further. We promptly ordered our burgers and off Michele went. The delivery came soon after and it had us all staring open-mouthed, marveling at these burgers. The tomato and lettuce was fresh from the garden and the roll appeared to be fresh baked. When I finally picked it up I was floored at the weight of it, it was a healthy 1/2 pound after cooking! And all burgers were a perfect med/rare when delivered. The flavor of this coarse ground loosely packed patty was amazing and juice flowed endlessly until the very last bite. My black cherry soda complimented my meal perfectly and I left with a smile that lasted hours. This is hands-down a solid 10/10 burger. If you want the full experience get to the Farm Stand in Bergen County, but remember they are only open Wed-Sun from 11am to 5pm. I'm taking home bags of their fresh made goodies next time. (I've got my eye on the homemade chicken pot pie!) Can't wait to get back there...

A great friendly place with excellent bartenders, Sean Kirin, and like most Irish pubs youâll have a friend. The menu caries some great staples yet the beauty of this spot is the chef daily specials. Beer selection is extensive an the liquor top shelf market is there.

Fabulous 6 month old restaurant !
Sear House is an upscale steak house in Closter. The Resturant has a valet and once you arrive the restaurant has nice ambiance. I would recommend getting a reservation place is busy every night. The Sear House has a great staff and a menu that is very diverse. My family ordered the salmon, short ribs, jumbo shrimp and lobster ravioli. I personally ordered the loon in lamb which you get three large pieces. The lamb was relatively tender but the outside was a little burnt. My family enjoyed their meals. I would return for cocktails and to enjoy the rooftop patio. Overall I give Sear House a B. So itâs a lower end 4 Star
