Led by Chef/Owner Josh DeChellis, Juniper Hill is a modern rustic restaurant and bar serving simple and seasonal food prepared with the best offerings from nearby farms and carefully chosen purveyors. The menu blends ingredients from around the world to d
Interesting combinations of flavors I haven't seen anywhere else. I appreciate the vegan and vegetarian options.I loved the free onion-potato bread served with humus.I highly recommend the strawberries & sprouts starter with ricotta cheese; I believe this was listed on the menu under salads but there are no greens. Either the ricotta cheese, the dressing or both were sweet. The strawberries were sweet too.For entree, I requested a vegan platter consisting of the three "SIDES" that were offered on the menu: roast potatoes, asparagus with chickpeas (and herbs), and sweet & sour cauliflower/broccoli with lots of golden raisins. The roast potatoes are oily but I forgive them because they're delicious. All three of these "SIDES" is delicious. This platter was large enough to feed two people. When ordered as sides, the portions are also too large for one person, so I recommend sharing. My favorite item was the pineapple basil sorbet. Lots of fresh basil gave this dessert a delicious kick. I didn't particularly taste pineapple; the sorbet seemed to resemble mango more than pineapple. I hope they still have this dessert when I return.I also recommend the olive oil cake served with vanilla cream, cherries and cherry sauce. A wonderful combination. The cake was not too sweet and I definitely detected the taste of a flavorful olive oil. My husband and I shared this cake and the pineapple basil sorbet, and the two desserts complemented each other. Not as outrageously delicious as the strawberries and sprouts starter, but an interesting combination of flavors, is the avocado grapefruit bowl with rice and grated fresh horseradish. My husband ate this on two different occasions, and loved it the time the horseradish was freshly grated and very strong.I do not recommend the tuna entree. The tuna was fresh, well seasoned and well prepared, so I ate all the tuna, and I picked out all the sweet pieces of mango, but I disliked the sour kimchi flavoring of the rice noodles, cabbage and other items served with the tuna. The cheese plate on the dessert menu is fine but not the best I've had.The bar offers a long list of interesting bourbons. I thought it interesting that the list of bourbons was much longer than the list of scotches, and I am a bourbon fan.My favorite tables for two people are the two near the front windows.Request a seat cushion if you wish.On both occasions when we dined here, service was slower than at other restaurants, although the servers are friendly and helpful.

Project brunch is a popular weekend breakfast place. The diner boasts a pleasant atmosphere, good service and a varied menu, which includes gluten-free alternatives. A bit pricey for a breakfast place, but the quality is excellent. The pancakes are superb.

Found Finnagel's on Yelp, we were staying near by for a baseball tournament and needed a place for dinner. So glad we went here! I can't remember what we all had, there were about 10 of us. But I know there were burgers involved!! They were so good! A real burger, not a patty. Cooked perfectly, just the way we ordered them. We wanted to go back a second night, but with the rest of the team. They unfortunately weren't able to accommodate us without putting us in a private room with a catering menu, so we opted out of it. Will definitely return if we are in the area again!

Hey Guys...Ordered a bowl of clam chowder, salad, a glass of Yuengling beer and chicken saltimbocca, Everything was EXCELLENT! The only reason I would not rate this dining experience as EXCELLENT was the cold draft inside the restaurant. I would suggest one find seating as far away from the door as possible as every time the door opens you will catch the draft.

Enjoyed lunch here with my wife and daughter while in Clinton. The menu is huge and features plated entrees as well as salads, burgers, wraps, and other typical lunch offerings. Food was tasty, service friendly and prices fair.

We saw the sign for Cracker Barrel on the highway. My wife said it was time to stop and take a break and suggested we have supper here. This is one of the few chain restaurants that consistently do a great job, so I had no objections to eating here. And they lived up to expectations. We had our individual favorites: grilled chicken tenders and chicken and dumplings. They were excellent.Service was prompt and efficient. Prices are very reasonable. We recommend you give them a try.

A classic family diner known for having great food, beautiful desserts, a 1927 train-car dining area, and giant hamburgers.
If you have a craving for burgers this is the place. Be prepared to spend time studying the menu before you make your selection. They offer many burgers and lots more. Do not leave before visiting the dessert case - cheese cake is the real thing.

First time there was alittle disappointed our server was very laid back, didnât get my order right. We started with the fig appetizer which was outstanding and would highly recommend. For beverages my hubby had beer which was very cold and refreshing . I ordered a dirty goose martini with olives, martini was very cold but hardly dirty. For our entrees I had the filet mignon special and added a lobster tail meat medium rare. Meat came out medium well no pink at all was tender but dry. Lobster tail was excellent. My husband order the beef Wellington which was overdone. Wellington should be served rare or medium rare which he ordered while it was tasty both meats were overdone. Restaurant has a good atmosphere and everyone was nice just not attentive to details.Hello Darla,I am so sorry your dining experience was less than perfect. Please know we will be looking into this and I am confident we can correct these points. I would like to hear more about your experience and offer you a gift card for you to try us out again.Thank you for the feedback Christina ManietOperations ManagerAlpha Hospitality [email protected]

We eat and bring friends here regularly as they serve high quality and locally sourced food. They are also gluten-free. During the summer, one can dine on their deck along the river and it is beautiful with lots of flowers. We have never been disappointed here.
