We made a trip to this little country cafe on one Sunday afternoon. Customers kept constantly coming in, so I think this place is popular here.My husband had a hamburger steak and I had a fried pork chop. We enjoyed our dishes. Mac and cheese I had for the side was great also.Friendly service and good food. It was a nice ride getting there too.

At Fly by Night Cattle Company, the Craft family is giving our guests an authentic Texas experience with a menu and atmosphere that are true to our roots. In 2013, we transformed our ranch into a destination restaurant and just completed a new venue that
This was about our 5th visit to Fly By Night Cattle Company's restaurant. We've always found their steaks to be excellent. We recently had some houseguests from Florida and thought they would enjoy dinner at Fly By Night. We bragged about the beef quality and the food portions, particularly the size and quality of their chicken fried steak. Two of our group ordered chicken fried steaks which were a terrible disappointment. In the past when we've had the CFS we'd order the half portion which would still fill the entire plate. So we did the same this time and they only filled about 1/3 of the plate and the meat was so thin you could barely tell there was any meat. We asked the waiter about the portion and he said he'd noticed the same thing and asked the kitchen who told it was the same weight as always, just pounded out differently by the provider. Well wouldn't that have made the steak even larger on the plate? Someone is full of BS! We'll definitely return to Fly By Night, but will likely steer clear of the CFS which used to be amazing. Such a disappointment!

First time here and it was very clean and the folks friendly. The coffee was very good and the breakfast filling. The pancakes have a slightly bitter taste because of the wheat, but are certainly large and you won't leave hungry. The hash browns have a bit of an oily taste to them from the pan oil, but were cooked well. The ham was quite good and a nice portion. I'd eat here again.

Cotton Patch Cafe is a Texas-inspired, home-style restaurant serving Southern classics. Famous for its Chicken Fried Steak, Crispy Fried Catfish and other specials like the King Ranch Chicken Casserole, and homemade Chicken and Dumplings. Don't forget abo
My wife and I recently ate at the Cotton Patch for the 2nd time (Cleburne location). We had grilled shrimp with vegetables (specifically requested to leave rice off the plate); and chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. The CFS normally comes with two sides (vegetables) or you can add a dinner salad for $1.99. However, if you have the dinner salad in lieu of a vegetable, the dinner salad is suppose to be an additional $1.00. The grilled shrimp plate came out with the shrimp laying on a bed of rice (specifically requested the rice to be left off) and when the bill came, it included a $1.99 charge for the dinner salad when it you have been only a $1.00 since I eliminated one vegetable. The food was average at best and both my wife and i looked at each other saying this was not a $30.00 meal (we had water to drink). Disappointed this go around.

Was driving around looking for a place to eat lunch. This place had a full parking lot, good sign. Came in, thankfully had a full service bar. About 10 or so seats at bar. Ordered a mixed drink and cold draft beer. The beer came in one of the frostiest mugs I've ever had! Had a decent menu, all home style. I tried a BLT sandwich, she had a grilled chicken. So the lady behind the bar was making a margarita, from scratch. It is Cinco d mayo anyway, We commented on her scratch made margarita so she gave us a small sample. Man it was great! Wishin had ordered that instead of beer!!! So...didn't finish original drinks so we could have a margarita!! Our server, bartender,Gerry was what earned the 5 stars. Once again, it takes much more than great food to earn 5 stars. It takes exceptional service and great food to make dining out a memorable experience. And it doesn't have to be a Michelin ranked restaurant. This place had both exceptional customer service and great food.

This is one of those places that itâs good enough to go back to. First time I had the soup and sandwich. Very tasty. The next time I had the hamburger steak with the sides. Like I said home cooking. It was good. Give them a try, great food reasonably priced.

Came to this place after reading reviews online. It's small, I waited right behind someone sitting at the small bar for my order. But, there's a picnic table outside. Also, you could always eat in your vehicle like I did. The burgers and fries were worth the space. So good! And both workers, one taking orders and one grilling, were very friendly.

Welcome to Buffalo Creek BBQ. Our delicious, homemade meats, sides, sauces and desserts will change the way you think about the 'cue! Our brisket is slow-cooked over hickory wood for the perfect, smoky flavor. Our homemade sauces come in mild and spicy. P
My family and I had a wonderful meal at Buffalo Creek BBQ. Find this place anytime you're in/near Cleburne. The barbecue was fabulous, and the service was terrific. The sides are almost as good as the meats, and you must try the cornbread salad (yummy!) and the homemade pickles (unique and a nice counter-flavor to the rest of your meal). The folks working there are super-friendly, and they greeted us warmly as if we were longtime customers. They will talk to you about everything they serve, finding out what you like, do not like, and then make expert recommendations. Don't be put off by the exterior -- it's not a big shiny chain restaurant, but that's part of what makes it great. It's a small restaurant that does a lot of carryout business, but it does have 7-9 tables for inside seating. Since our meal 2 nights ago, we have been talking about the experience and are already looking forward to our visit. Next time you are in Cleburne, find this place!

Heroes Cafe is located in the Heart of Downtown Cleburne in the Wright Plaza Building. Our friendly staff serves up American Comfort Food while the brand honors American Heroes such as service members and police/fire personnel!
Heroes is the kind of place you hope to stumble onto one day. Located inside the historic Wright Plaza, their seating is open between quaint shops. The pace is hometown-relaxed, and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I really enjoyed their brisket sandwich. If you're in Cleburne, give this place a try!
