Had a 90th birthday party for my Dad at 120 Pub and Grub. Our waitress, Bree, handeled our party of 29 by herself. She did a fantastic job! The food was excellent, especially the roast beef! Thank you Jen for arranging everything for me. Highly recommend this place for the great food and fantastic service.
Place is old and it would not be unkind to say it's a little run down. We've noticed the subs are more generous with ingredients than other Fox's in the area. Pizzas also have a different crust than other Fox's which is very good. We like the roast beef subs. Again, they are generous with the roast beef. Go for the food, not for the atmosphere. Oh, I also think they offer better deals than other Fox's. We like stopping here.

Sid's has the best subs when they are exactly what you ordered. If you get take out just remember "check your order" before you leave. Even check it when you are eating in the restaurant. It is a hit or mess thing it seems, but when it is right the subs and other foods are delicious. Just have patience as well, because sometimes they are really busy at lunch and always busy on Fridays evenings.

Food was good (not great) and prices were reasonable. Service was friendly but quite slow. Dining area was small and a little worn, but seemed clean enough. The restroom on the other hand was a nightmare. Beer was good and cold with a fair selection for such a small place. Burgers and salads were unremarkable. Frozen and fried seems to be the motif. Prices were low, though. So if you are not in a hurry and you are looking for a very casual place with simple food, then this is worth a try.

We were in Clearfield for an overnight and Spanky's was recommended as "the place to have breakfast". Excellent choices and many of them. There were three of us and we all had something different. I opted for Pancakes and bacon. Bacon was cooked very well and the pancakes were huge and delicious, couldn't finish them. My husband chose eggs and sausage with toast and there again, everthing was cooked well. They are also quick and efficient .

Overnighting in Clearfield today, we discovered this place looking for a local brewery. Glad we did. Really friendly owners and bartender. Good selection of solid beers. And the food is excellent. I had a build your own bowl that was made from very fresh ingredients and very tasty. My wife had a design your own panini that was fresh and very good. The half order of nachos we had to start were very good, especially loved the several different types of beans on them. The place is a little hard to find, as it's in an old electronics plant. When you walk through the door, you have to walk down a hallway. But don't fret, you are in the right place. I love the decor. It may be weird to some, but I appreciate all of the old things that are in the place. If you're in Clearfield, give it a try, great place.
