Award winning menu. Full bar service. Free WiFi. Friendly atmosphere of a tradition pub. Wide screen tv's for sport viewing. $5 lunch specials. Happy Hour and drink specials.
Had great service from Jeanine, refills on drinks was timely.Used an Entertainment coupon. In my reviews I try to be specific because I know how much restaurants appreciate the feedback. I had the Trotter steak. It tasted like sirloin that was highly mechanically tenderized. The steak sort of lacked flavor, some spices or rubs may help (McCormick Montreal seasoning?). The cook could also butter the steak and let the butter caramelized slightly before serving to give the steak more of a "zip sauce" flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly to my request. This is rather remarkable because most bar and grills overcook steak. My wife had the tortellini with blacken chicken. She thought it was somewhat mediocre, but she admitted she is not a fan of "blackened" meat. The salads were great with what tasted like home made ranch. Typical commercial ranch is overly thick and tart, it appears the kitchen took the time to make it from scratch. The ambiance of the place is pretty cool with a northern lodge type theme. You can tell the owners spent a lot of money on the place and everything appeared new and very clean.

What a great little find, just north of downtown Clarkston. Their breakfasts are wonderful, as our their sandwiches. With bread and goodies from Zingermans (an Ann Arbor favorite), nothing from this café/deli will be less than spectacular. And they are reasonably priced for what you get - they only charge $1 for a bottle of water. Can't say that of many places!

Just finished having a great breakfast at the Royal Diner, with our best friends. The food was very good, the service was great, she kept the coffee flowing, and the experience was great! Way, way better than the last time we had breakfast there. It didn't even bother me that the cashier was dis-engaged, (somewhere else). Got to say...the Royal Diner did good and earned my business again. Be back soon!

Been here several times and it's never disappointed us at all. More of a casual yet upscale restaurant with exceptional food and service. From the fresh baked bread, to your main course and then dessert, we really have enjoyed every aspect of it. Canât wait to go back again!

Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon for dinner, as we were heading home. Glad we did! The service was great and the food was exceptional! Very cool atmosphere. And, as we were leaving, there were people lined up outside to be seated. Not something you see too often on a Sunday. The BBQ is decent and the portion sizes are adequate. We would definitely stop by again if we're in town!
Whether it's a night out with the family or date night, we have more than enough things to do. With Urban Air easily accessible, the bowling lanes within view, big screen TVs and amazing food, what more could you ask for? We're the only place in town you
