We were warned to share the fries--oh, my! We couldn't even finish half of the basket! I ordered the Big Al--no surprise, it was big! And tasty with the secret special sauce! We will consider stopping again for this quality bar food.

Went on a Sunday evening for meat lovers buffet. Very popular with locals for a reason. Good food, very reasonably priced and very friendly staff. Worth the drive from the valley or on the way north to the Valley along the east side of Lake Winnebago.

I met a friend at Village Hearthstone on a Thursday evening. I arrived early to a warm, inviting atmosphere. I sat at the bar with a great view of their cozy fire set inside a brick wall while I had a glass of their Chardonnay. My friend arrived and we were seated in a booth. Cecka was the hostess and server and I cannot say enough about her! She was funny, very informative, and knows the menu like a book! I enjoyed the amazingly tasty mushroom and swiss burger with this scrumptious mac and cheese. My friend enjoyed the egg sandwich with the mac and cheese. I will, no doubt, order that egg sandwich next time! Village Hearthstone is a one of a kind dining establishment if you are looking for something more upscale, casual, and has locally sourced food. I WILL be back!

This is a cute coffee shop in the middle of nowhere! They serve various gourmet sandwiches, soups, desserts and coffee. The prices are a bit pricey but well worth it for the quality. The staff are friendly and the interior is quaint with tables, booths, high top tables, fireplace and local wines. It's a cute comfort spot to stop at on your Sunday drive.
