Dined here with reservations on a Wednesday evening on N. Halsted. For three, started with grilled Spanish octopus (tender as in very) and ricotta dumplings (yummy). My friends raved raved, about beef short ribs and I found the roasted chicken moist with an unusual coating. Dessert an absolute must: hazelnut and coffee and dark chocolate matcha. Beautiful atmosphere with tables well spaced and conversation easy. Service professional and attentive without hovering. Highly recommend.

Dinner for 5 of my family visiting Chicago for a long weekend. Early dinner at 5:30pm. Service staff was great. Attentive. Great explanation of menu items with helpful suggestions. Menu was extensive and just as expected for a steakhouse. I was especially happy as they had a Bone In Veal Chop ... my favorite. Wine menu is extensive with many choices. Each entree was cooked to perfection. Totally enjoyed the dinner.

Couldn't wait to try this place with my husband! Our wait was not too bad on a Friday morning. It was a beautiful morning & we chose to sit outside. We both ordered omelettes with a side of pancakes. I had the banana chocolate chip & he had the berry. It was truly one of the best breakfasts we had ever had! The service was also amazing! We would recommend & we would visit again. Nice to go to prior to after a visit at Millennium Park.

We love Capital Grille and this one meets or exceeds the high standard. Service was incredible. Up there with the best service we have experienced. The drinks were excellent as was the food. The butternut Squash soup was incredible. The Lamb Chops equally great as were the steaks the rest of our group had. All cooked perfectly as requested. 5 stars all around.

Girl & the Goat has been serving fun foods, craft beers, and making wine in a rustic and kick-butt environment since summer 2010. The restaurant opens at 4:30 every day, and stays open until 11pm on weeknights and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays (
Scored a last minute reservation on Opentable. I was a little hesitant as it was 4:45pm but I really wanted to see what the hype was about. The service was excellent, the server suggested a lot of good items, our glasses were always being refilled, empty plates constantly taken away. Had the focaccia, green beans, scallops and short ribs. All were very good, but the beans were my favourite, so flavourful and amazing.Would I recommend going? Yes. Make sure to make reservations early or check last minute for cancelations.

Oriole is a restaurant in a quiet stretch of Chicago's West Loop neighborhood, offering an extended tasting menu presented by Executive Chef & Owner Noah Sandoval and Pastry Chef & Partner Genie Kwon. Never bending to industry trends, the dishes and servi
Had high expectations, but they were exceeded by a long margin..the evening meal was beyond our wildest taste dreams...nice to have the chef decide the menu.Staff was beyond wonderful..after finding easy street parking very near to the restaurant. Nice selection of wines..did not go with wine pairing dinner but everything was to perfection. Received a detailed description of the many courses after the meal. There is a reason they have 3 Michelin stars...The best meal I have ever had. Each course was not only presented well, but the servers knew all the answers to any questions we had on the preparation..This place is in a class by itself.

April 2, 1983. In a city known for meat packing & hog butchering, a brave pair of optimistic vegetarians opened a ground breaking meat free eatery called The Chicago Diner. Since then, co-owners Mickey Hornick & Jo Kaucher, have built a reputation for wow
I'm not a vegetarian, but the food here was excellent. Service was just a bit slow, but the place was jammed on a Friday night. It is currently the top restaurant in Chicago on Trip Advisor, but that is based on a relatively small number of reviews. I doubt very much that it is the absolute best in this huge city. But there ois no doubt in my mind that this small diner would be one of the top 5 or 10%.

Located 10-15 minutes SW of Chicago's downtown, chef-owner-innkeeper Dave Samber and his Polo Staff continue to bring you "Something different... something wonderful!" through their excellence in hospitality since 1985. Whether it's Dinner on FRI or SAT,
Strange hours so check before you go. This is a world class neighborhood gem. If you are a tourist, you should visit some of Chicago's neighborhoods. That said, this should be one of the restaurants you should indulge in. Giant salads, Great variety of foods. When you're there if they have Quiche on the menu, EAT IT!!! Here is the perfect Day in Bridgeport, that's the name of the neighborhood, Polo is in. Polo for breakfast or brunch, take in a daytime White Sox game then head over to Duck Inn for dinner. The mixologist at Duck Inn is unbelievable. This may be the best day you could spend in Chicago.

At Joeâs you can rely on getting this traditional upscale steakhouse experience. The light is dimmed, the tables are covered with table cloths, the meat is exceptional and the service works excellent. As to the âseafoodâ my preferences are the cold items. Salads and desserts are no challenge for a skilled chef and taste very good. Therefore people love this place. Booking far in advance is absolutely necessary.

The portions were large. I went for the BBQ ribs and Bean Burger with Waffle Fries. Modelo beer too. The food tasted lovely. Really good value too. The service was excellent too. Probably one of the best vegan restaurants in the city.
