New England dining meets premier restaurant at STARS, located in the Historic Chatham Bars Inn. Custom chandeliers, stately columns and magnificent picture windows overlooking the Atlantic Oceanâs Pleasant Bay create an ambiance that's both upscale and in
Terrific foods, unsurpassed view (if you get close to the windows) but oh my, slow, not very attentive service. Lots of protein and carb choices. Smoked fish (3), great hash, best bacon and many egg choices all make for a wonderful meal.CBI is heavy on the look and generally backs it up with the food but cannot seem to solve the chronically substandard service. Service to buffet diners is pretty simple, pour coffee, tea, ask if you want juice then refill and clear promptly. We cleared our own table, asked repeatedly for refills to coffee and had to wave for this limited level of service. How does a top resort continually fail to deliver even average service?Still a mystery to me and the absence of restaurant management responses to these âpoor serviceâ reviews is baffling.

This restaurant changed hands in April and it shows. I wouldnât say the food was bad but it certainly wasnât what it used to be. Entire staff seems to have changed and prices are higher. A little disappointed as this was always a favorite restaurant.

Our group of 4 decided to order a variety of foods to try and share. I recommend ordering ala carte pancakes to try them all. The omelette was huge and flavorful. The potatoes that accompany this are amazing! The gluten free pancakes tasted like cinnamon rolls. The texture was not loved by all, but thatâs typical for gluten free. The Lemon ricotta pancake was delicious.Bless the chef that created the brioche pudding French toast! The iced coffee had a delightful taste of chocolate. The only thing bland at this restaurant was our server.

You can tell this is place locals go. It is a converted house, so quite small. There is really nowhere to wait except outside because you walk right into one of the dining areas. It was worth the wait, though. We had a half-and-half pizza, plus some beer and sangria. Quite tasty with lovely service. We would return for sure if we lived in this area.

World Traveled chef Kee creates masterful sushi and asian inspired bistro fare. The food is supported by a lively upscale bar and dining experience.
I will admit that I was not expecting much from this restaurant, but my family was pleasantly surprised. All of the sushi we ordered was impeccably fresh and delicious. We tried an assortment of appetizers and rolls, and everything was devoured. It's a very popular restaurant, so we made a 5PM reservation to avoid having to wait in line (the restaurant only takes reservations at 5, 5:15, and 5:30 and then goes to a walk in only policy). This turned out to be a very good idea because the restaurant filled to capacity within moments of opening. Our server was prompt and efficient, and helpful as we made our choices. I'd definitely eat here again.

We entertained some local friends with whom we were staying. It took a little while to choose our meals and we then ordered as volumes appeared large, each couple shared at least one course. My wife and I chose the salmon with king prawns. The meal was tasty but towards the end of eating this dish, I realised that we had not had the prawns at all. I told the waiter when he collected the plates and he said that he would talk to the kitchen. When the bill arrived, we noticed that the dish had been charged at full price even though it had not been the full portion. We were not happy to stay and argue, so I paid a 10% service charge instead of the expected twenty per cent. This rather spoilt what could have been an excellent evening out to dinner.

We stop here every year so my Wife can get a Breakfast Burrito and this year was no exception - off season but packed as usual, favorite among a lot of people I guess, they do move fast and service has been very friendly the last few times we were in, burritos are made to order, in an assembly line fashion, as mentioned before, a subway for burritos, they do have Panini but I have never seen anyone in that line, separate line for burritos, I am sure they must sell a lot of them as well or they wouldn't offer it, good selection of coffee - hot and iced- and some sweets - whoopie pies, rice crispy treats etc...

This Chatham fixture is on our must visit list whenever we are in Chatham. Good food, good service. Has a more varied menu that offers some great alternatives for those who are âseafooded outâ and looking for an alternative menu item while also maintaining the local seafood tradition.

I stayed at the Chatham Inn Hotel and enjoyed a meal in the wine bar and in the main restaurant. The quality of food, choice of wine and service was exceptional.Certainly not cheap but due to the perfectly executed cooking definitely value for money. The wild boar ragu pappardelle was some if the best pasta I've had anywhere. I was travelling on my own, having a few days break from a business trip, the staff and management made me feel welcome and relaxed whilst still providing first class service. I can't recommend this restaurant and hotel enough.Dear David CThank you so much for your excellent review. We are thrilled that you were made to feel welcome by us all here, it is of primary importance to us that our guests depart with exactly that feeling. We would love to see you return!

Been passing this place for ten years and finally decided to try it. We were not impressed. The menu had a little of everything on it, and we tried a variety of different things. None of them were very good. The interior is dark and dated, and service was very average. There are too many good places around to go here, sorry.Sorry you were not impressed. We always wish for our customers to have a great experience, and most of them do. If you would like to contact me further about what meals you had, I would be happy to discuss any issues that came up. [email protected] Have a good summer!
