Jordan's Lobster Farm

Jordan Lobster is a full service seafood restaurant with a retail store. We also have a clam bar and backyard bar which is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day weather permitting.

Dined on a Monday evening and was seated right away. Outside seating area was available. I thought that would have been enjoyable since restaurant states waterfront location. Quickly regretted that choice. Menu had a large selection of seafood options. Chose Lobster cakes, served with fries and coleslaw. Only tasted peppers and breading, not much lobster. Coleslaw was bland. They have a walk up counter to order carry out. I wanted to like this place but didn’t have a nice enough experience to recommend.

Bayhouse

The Bayhouse Waterfront Bar & Grille is located in Rosedale New York and was my first restaurant that I enjoyed during my month long US Holiday. In total there were over thirty-four (34) other restaurants that I experienced during my month long vacation in America.I was invited with my daughter-in-laws father, and the restaurant was very close to JFK airport and my hotel. We both had a great visit and fantastic dinner. It was raining that night so we did not have a chance to dine on their outdoor terrace yet we did have a nice window table with a view of the water! The menu was quite extensive so I had a difficult time deciding on my selection. What we found out that ALL the food at the Bayhouse Waterfront Bar & Grille was very, very good.I liked the atmosphere and our waitress was very professional and friendly. I would return on a heartbeat on my next trip to the States…

Lido Kosher Deli

Reviewed By Bonappetitmom

From the moment you walk into the Lido Deli in Long Beach, NY, you know you are going to have a wonderful and satisfying meal. Right from the entrance starts the delightful parade of Jewish delicacies. They have a lavish and lush variety of items to choose from.  The platters and individual cookies are the start to the glorious showcases housing  wonderful Jewish dishes. Knishes, pickles, kugels, pot pies, latkas, cutlets, fried chicken, meats and salads are just a sampling of the mouth watering goodies that runs the length of the restaurant. You are then greeted by a welcoming staff member and escorted to a table. On the table is a bowl of very delicious coleslaw and assortment of pickles. Then the fun begins and you are presented with their amazing menu. This is one extensive menu. From breakfast dishes including omelettes and bagels and lox to a hot dinner entree. They have appetizers for a small bite. They have soups that are just divine. The matoh ball soup was heavenly. The matzoh ball was light and fluffy. This soup could cure everything from the common cold to the flu. The split pea soup was creamy and flavorful as well is their barley soup. The stuffed cabbage was fantastic in a sweet and sour sauce. I love knishes and nothing beats a hotdog from a Jewish Deli. We had the Sampler platter with hotdogs in blankets, potato knishes and potato pancakes, served with applesauce. Everything was terrific. The outside was crisp on the knish and pancakes and soft in the middle. The mini hotdogs were so flavorful. The overstuffed pastrami and corned beef sandwich was over the top. The very generous portions of meat topped with their homemade coleslaw, on the fantastic rye bread was dreamy. This is the epitome of a classic Jewish sandwich. We finished off with a cup of coffee and a classic black and white cookie. An authentic Kosher Jewish Deli is few and far between. Yes they have many good kosher style delis in the New York and Long Island area. The Lido Deli is a true Kosher Jewish Deli. They are kosher and abide by the Jewish guidelines of being strictly kosher. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY I had so many wonderful Jewish delis in my neighborhood. Now they are gone. I live in Long Island and many of the delis in  my area are also gone. I am so happy that Lido Deli has stood the test of time and has stayed where they are and true to themselves. It was a privilege to have dined in this epic establishment. This is a classic Kosher Jewish Deli, run by 3rd and 4th generation family members. They are a family owned and operated establishment and is a staple in the community. With wonderful service from everyone who works there, I definitely will be back. My one and  only complaint is that I wish I lived closer.

7. Judd's Memphis Kitchen

The Kosher Food at Judd's is tasty, and prepared in the Southern, Memphis-style. The fries are a very well seasoned treat. The only disappointment if the very high prices that they charge for drinks, that being simple bottled water or soda. I would guess that their beverages are about double the going rate at most other establishments in the area.

Excellent service was provided by Jimmy. He anticipated our needs and exceeded them. Our drinks were always filled and he assured our food was prepared just the way we liked it. Portions were huge, fresh and delicious. Crunchy pickles, delicious macaroni salad and cold refreshing coleslaw was presented by Jimmy prior to our meal; oh my, so so scrumptious. I had to be careful not to fill up prior to my yummy tuna melt.

Prime Bistro

So we started dinner in at Another notable Central Avenue eatery. We decided that we wanted to up the experience a bit and went to prime bistro for dessert.Their desserts, as promised are truly works of art. They are absolutely beautiful in presentation. Or I to find fault at all it would be with the level of service involved. True we came in and probably an hour or two before closing but that is truly no reason to sit and wait 30 minutes to get coffee and dessert anywhere. It really ruins the experience. Beyond that there is not much to add a part from perhaps we should’ve had dinner there and we would have been more welcome desert guests.

If you're looking for an authentic kosher barbecue in the 5 Towns, make your way over to Graze. As you walk in the door, your mouth waters with wonder if the food will taste as good as it smells. And it does not disappoint! Their menu is creative and fun and all their menu offerings include explanations. We ordered the Dino Short Rib with cracked pepper rub and honey hickory glaze that was tender and incredibly tasty. It comes with a choice of sides that were also amazing. Their pulled smokehouse nachos and beef belly bacon, well, reminded me of days long ago. And for fun, they sell several flavors of homemade Beef Jerky. The jerky can also be purchased on line. Although there is no wait staff, our orders were prepared quickly and served to perfection. The seating area is a bit small so call ahead to be sure there is seating availability. On my next pass through the 5T’s, Graze will be on my menu!

Whenever we're in NY, my husband and I never miss an opportunity to go to Traditions (sometimes two or three times in a 10-day visit). The food is always delicious, prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. It gets very busy (and noisy) in the evenings but that's fine. Probably one of - if not THE - best kosher delis in the metropolitan area.
