First let me say I NEVER leave negative reviews. However, this was one of the most unorganized hotels I have ever stayed at. Here are the points of issues. 1. Actually NO SHUTTLE- yes they offer free shutttle at THEIR lesiure. Ever time we requested a shuttle it was either gone or we missed it, or the best -the last day "ohhhh it runs every hour on the hour". Sooooo we had Uber everywhere. Waste of money. 2. MAID SERVICE-Clearly they will do as they wish. Requested NO maid service, upon arriving to our room the maid had been in. The next day we DID request maid service. The maid came in exchanged towels ONLY, nothing else. Awful service. 3. Rooms- the rooms are very outdated and the mattresses are terribly uncomfortable. 4. Restaurant- if you like Indian food you're in luck, that's all they serve and the whole hotel smells of the spices. 5. Complaints- while waiting in the lobby we heard several people complain about things not working. The lack of shuttles, ect. So to sum it up, stick with the major hotel lines as you'll waste money on Uber service and the hospitalities are much better elsewhere. This hotel doesn't understand the fundamentals of customer service.

I was here for a private party this past weekend. The room, food and decor were lovely. Service was efficient and helpful and the food was of fine quality. From my experience this appears to be a great place to host a party or special event. Lorenzo's is conveniently located at the Hilton Hotel and not far from the Staten Island Expressway exit. Parking is plentiful. Thanks for this kind review, Mary! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit. We love to see guests and friends from the community host private parties at Lorenzo's, too! We hope you'll come visit us again soon.

Located in the borough of Staten Island, New York. This beautiful inn serves as a restaurant, wedding and party facility. The mansion has been extended but the original part of the mansion still remains in use. An event at our inn will be an affair to rem
The food here was simple ... more simple than you would expect I guess, but it did taste good with the exception of the cake which had like a canoli frosting instead of regular frosting. The atmosphere was nice-- classy and inviting. Parking is somewhat limited so be prepared for that.

nice atmosphere nice set up- entertainment during week and weekend, but table service was terrible, we waited over 20 minutes just for menu's. The burger was ok but nothing outstanding for 16 bucks. Over all, a little over priced and not so good service at tables.

I had a blackened chicken sandwich as is with a side salad. It was one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I've had. Pickles seem made in house and the salad was mostly spinach with some iceberg, and a good chunky blue cheese. Better than your average bar sand, that's for sure.
Incredible breakfast/lunch/dinner stop with a limited, but healthy choices (burgers too). It is in the Rahway/Carteret Health Center/Gym so don't feel you are in the wrong place when driving up. You HAVE to have the Chicken Salad wrap or sandwich! Health Shakes of all kinds too and the owners/workers are VERY friendly

Where:Burger Express215 Roosevelt Ave, Carteret, NJ 07008What:Locomotive Burger $6.14 (at the time of this review)Build:Double cheeseburger, pickles, onions, ketchup, poppy seed Kaiser roll.Comments:I found this place by accident while driving through Carteret, NJ with my son-in-law. We were both hungry, (I was hangry) when we stumbled onto the Burger Express. The burgers were very good, not great, but very good. The servers are all very nice, the place is clean and the atmosphere very inviting. The rendered fat and juices flowing out of this burger had an old-school aroma for me. It reminded me of a flat-grilled bar burger I used to eat about 38 some years ago. The burger was piping hot which is always awesome, but it was also over-cooked. Although over-cooked, much like 5-Guys burgers, it was not dry at all (it never dawned on me that I probably could've asked for a medium rare temperature). Overall, a cool place to hang, and BTW, Burger Express has a huge and diverse menu, offering items from shrimp, to chicken parm with just about anything you can think of in-between. There is also a bar upstairs that looks over the burger seating area. What a great place to watch a football game. Again, cool place, with a unique, train station feel and of all things, a drive-through window! You don't see that at many Mom & Pop restaurants.

Tiny little hot dog shed; staff at hotel told me to try it. Great! Nice, personable guy runs it and the food is really good. Very cheap. Will definitely go again. This is the kind of place that is fast disappearing from the American landscape. A small two person food operation that gives a personal spin to service. Hope they stay around forever.

My husband & I were staying overnight at the nearby Holiday Inn in Carteret/Rahway. We asked the friendly front desk staff where to eat for dinner that was good, close-by, and reasonable. They recommended the Bus Stop Diner and they were right! I ordered the fish plate and my husband got an Italian special and we both liked our dinner. Plus the cornbread rolls and dessert were yummy.
