Recently had dinner with a group of nine. Everyone ordered some kind of steak, and as usual, no one was disappointed with their dinner. Each person commented that theirs was cooked just like they ordered it,Service was pretty good for our large party. One server, a guy with a knot of hair on top his head must have been newly hired. He had trouble figuring out who ordered what when he brought out the dishes. Other than that, 2 thumbs up for a good experience.

It has been years since we ate here with family, so we decided to stop in for lunch on a Saturday. They had remodeled since we were there....long time...very nice, clean restaurant. The staff seated us quickly, and service was great. We ordered the combo with original ribs and pulled pork, with a side of broccoli salad and Belaires (like twice baked potatoes) with cheese and green onion, and dinner rolls. Also ordered the original St. Louis style rib dinner with the same sides. Wow! is all I can say. We have dined around the area for years, and we should have come back sooner. This was the best meal we have had in years. The sides were the biggest hit. Seldom do you find good sides in any restaurant. The broccoli salad with red onion, grapes and I believe pumpkin seeds were the best. Some places serve it raw, but this was lightly steamed and perfect. The Belaires were good, but could use a bit of cream to thin it out as the cream cheese made it a bit thick and dry. The bbq was fantastic too. I would go back every week if we lived there. They have a great menu besides the Q also.

We enjoyed lunch at this restaurant today. Our food was well prepared and very tasty. Salads were full of fresh lettuce and even had diced hard boiled egg, along with other delicious fresh garden vegetables. Steaming hot rolls with honey butter. What more could you ask for? Our waiter was awesome, too!

A craft brewpub located in Historic Downtown Cape Girardeau. We are dedicated to providing quality beer brewed on-site and artisan pizzas.
great place to grab a beer and pub food. quaint and cozy interior and nice patio for summer. pizza and a pint is the best deal and their pizzas are very good. beers are also good but limited selection. and they also have several guest taps but would rather sample the more Miglewood beers. prices are very reasonable. and they also have wine if you do not prefer beer. nice location downtown with ample parking across the street. highly recommended.

Found this hidden gem thanks to the advice from the folks at Patrick Furniture. Definitely off the beaten path. Food was very good in an old school environment. Good times and good food flowing. Pimento cheese on the sandwich was a unique touch.

What a fun spot in Cape Girardeau. Parking is not easy but worth the hunt for. Spot. We felt just like we were in a pub in Ireland. Great service and atmosphere coupled with good food made for a great lunch. Fins and chips! Shepherds pie or ruebens. Really good

The restaurant is downtown in Cape, along Main Street parallel to the Mississippi River, which one can see as one walks down the hill. The place is broken up into at least two rooms, noisy and casual. The waitress was quick. Red beans, sausage and rice and shrimp creole were both good. The menu has Nawlins specialities unusual for Missouri. We had the froglegs appetizer, and they also have gator and crawfish on the menu. There are etouffees as well. Portions are huge. Half portions are available. This is a good choice for casual dining, out of the ordinary for the area. It seemed popular on a Monday night. The downtown itself is kind of deserted, but we didn't have any problem walking back to the Courtyard.

Ingredient quality was high. Preparation was hit-and-miss with ridiculously tough bread the low point.Good service but the small space is too acoustically live and needs some attenuation via "soft" surfaces like wall decorations made of fabric.Drink prices are very high for the area. Our group of three generally enjoyed--and at times raved--about the food but again it was hit-and-miss.
