A lovely restaurant with great food and good service. Best to get a seat near a window where you can look at the manicured gardens. The complimentary bread is delicious. Cold water glasses also complimentary. The vegetable salad served hot with various vegetables and no lettuce was really good and great with another dish.A very busy restaurant so book in advance to lock in your table.

We got several recommendations to go to Linn's. I am so glad we did. The food was the best. Unique flavors. I had the Abalone. It was farmed and small, but it was fabulous. We also had Chicken Fried Steak. The service was great too. We hope to go back in the fall.

Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill offers our diners breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Diners may choose to sit outside on our ocean front patio or they may sit inside where our large picturesque window allows a vast view of the ocean. We offer fresh seaf
As in previous reviews the wait is looong! We ate there once before for lunch a while back and weren't impressed. We went for dinner this time with friends so there was 7 of us. Food was delicious all around the table and view of the ocean was nice too. Brooke, we do have a lot of great customers, but we try to get them seated and served as fast as we can! We're glad to hear your group had a great dinner with great views. Hope to see you again soon!Sincerely,John, Owner

We have been going to the Sows Ear for 30 years and it is always good. The environment has gotten a bit too dark and beat up, with areas of the restaurant really needing a cleaning and a re-do. Like the things decorating the windows. But you can always get a good old school meal here!

Very nice restaurant with not too much tables, a creative and interesting menu, good food and sincere service. Prices aligned to the quality and the service. The only remark has been on out neighbors.. loud voices and noise.. nothing to blame to the restaurant Donât miss it!

Wonderful breakfast. Eat in the garden out back if you can. Plenty of shade on sunny mornings and heaters if itâs cool. We were quickly seated even though it was Sunday. The menu has plenty of traditional breakfast items and some more creative things for the adventurous. The service was efficient and friendly. The garden is pleasant and relaxed. The food was good. Canât go wrong here.

First of all, check my profile: I am not one of those who go to Tripadvisor only to bring an establishment down. Quite the opposite, I love to share positive experiences. But the Indigo Moon aggravated me to the point of no return. You know when you have a bad vibe? We really wanted to like this place, some items in the menu looked really alluring, but we might have had quite a few reasons to go somewhere else: when I called to book, the hostess was kind of unpleasant. The kind that makes you put down the phone and wonder "Do I really want to go there?". Then, when being seated, the same manager, Dina, was very uncourteous with the guests before us, an elderly couple with a dog: either you are dog friendly, or you're not. You can't ask dog owners to enter from the back door! BIG BOOOO!The food is on the low side of "okay".-Mac & cheese lacked salt in the pasta.-Pear and gorgonzola salad had virtually no gorgonzola, little pear, and was smothered in a tarragon and shallot dressing that made no sense.-The artisan cheese platter was a bitter joke for $13.-The special, a grilled teriyaki "organic" salmon cost $28 for 1x4 of salmon: that is not the problem, rather the fact that it was accompanied by rice with a raspberry seasoning that had no business being there at all.The owners call themselves "food enthusiasts": enthusiasm is a praiseworthy quality, but without knowledge and savoir-faire it is an empty shell.I wonder about the hygiene of the place because my first glass of water had a very very very funny taste: my wishful explanation is that they used a dirty knife to cut the lemon slice, because it had a foul garlicky/sulfury taste â I love garlic, but not in my water.Last but not least, we ordered a fair amount of food: 2 appetizers, 1 salad, bottle of wine, bread (which is of course not complimentary) and we split the $28 dollars salmon: so we got a $3 charge because we split the entree. We complained. The waitress said it was on the menu, that she agrees it's preposterous but that's the manager's rule and so it was not waived. All in all, the food was barely okay, but the vibe of the place is sick. You see that the staff is not happy, which results in patrons not being happy, which in turns creates a nasty electric atmosphere in the dining hall.

Favorite place to eat in Cambria. Yes it's pricey, and crowded (but a cool vibe and meet interesting and friendly people over a glass of wine while you wait) and they take cash only but there is a ATM available if you're caught off guard. I've never had a seafood dish I didn't like here. If you can't stand waiting a bit for a table this is not the place for you.

The restaurant was crowded, so we figured the food would be good. We were seated outside, with under-bench and overhead heat. The overhead radiant heat was uncomfortable. The entrees arrived. Mine was good. My wife's medium rare steak was overcooked. Our waitress was nowhere to be seen, so we asked the busboy to get her. A manager arrived, did not introduce himself, agreed the steak was medium-well done. He said he would get us another steak, and took the overcooked one back. Later the waitress came to say our replacement steak had been ordered. We waited..... and waited. The busboy came to clear the table. We told him the steak had still not arrived. He sent yet someone else. She checked and came back to say the replacement steak had never been put on the grill! My wife left hungry, so we went to another restaurant for dessert.

We went up to Cambria to celebrate our 50th anniversary. I was looking for the best place in town for our special evening. Madeline's was #1 rated on TripAdvisor and I have never been disappointed in their picks yet. Madeline's was no exception. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. Atmosphere was great. What's not to love about this place. Great for a special occassion, or just a casual dinner.
