Fresh Foods; Breakfast & Lunch. Open from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wednesday thru Sunday. They have THE BEST home made LOW FAT muffins I've ever tasted. You can order their muffins to be shipped anywhere as well. Delightful and moist...you cannot tell they are low
This is a very small restaurant and bakery in Grand Rivers, Ky. We wanted something besides national chains and we lucked out finding this place. We all got the breakfast special which consisted of breakfast casserole, a slice of quiche and fresh fruit. The quiche was the best I have every had anywhere, very soft and flavorful custard, not rubbery like most quiche you get in a restaurant. The muffins were fantastic too. I don't know how they can make those extra large muffins only 200 calories each, but that's what they claim. We all got different flavors and shared a little of each with each other. We also took a bag of muffins home with us. Stop by next time you visit the Land Between the Lakes.
We had heard they had reopened a restaurant in the KenBar Lodge and thought we would try it out last Saturday. We got there about 4:30pm only to find out they didn't open till 5:00. The young lady that greeted us though asked if we could wait a second. When she came back she told us no problem, that if we were just a little patient they would get things up and running for us. Talk about service. We had our drinks in about 2 minutes. My beer was the coldest I've had in years. Our fried pickles appetizer came out in what seemed like just a couple minutes more. While waiting for our meals we were approached and talked to by several employees. Each just as friendly as the last. This is a new restaurant / bar / music venue and they each told us of some of the plans they have for the place. The beautiful new reclaimed wood bar is just the start. My son and I ordered the Guinness burger. Him with ocra, me beer battered onion rings. My wife ordered the Embers burger with fries. We all couldn't stop talking about how great the burgers were and shared our sides. To see what looked like a half pound burger and about 4 orders of onion rings on a plate for less than what you would pay for a large size #1 meal at Mickey D's was just a nice bonus. We were invited back for another meal or even to just hang out and listen to music. Great people, Great service. Great food. Great price. We'll be back often.

Driving backroads from St. Louis to Huntsville, with my wife, Googled BBQ along the way, found this absolute gem.Ordered two plates of beef and a plate of pork, slaw, nothing else. Unsweet iced tea, which caused the other patrons to stare at us suspiciously.Everyone in this place was somehow related, or knew each other, or was introducing themselves and asking how they were related, or if maybe they knew each other somehow. Very friendly joint, waitress was great. Listening to the local color was almost as enjoyable as the meat. They have two sauces on the table, one a little mustardy, the other darker, with a little kick, never tasted anything like it, finally decided primary flavor was black pepper. The slaw was also unique, also mustardy, but just slightly so, not overpowering.NOTE: This place is cash only. There's a Dollar Store across the street where you can get cash back for $1.50.If you're traveling on I-24, plan your day so you can stop here for lunch. You will not be disappointed.

The Catfish Kitchen is truly one of a kind! Quaint small seating room overlooking Beautiful KY ponds. Decor matches the delightful hospitality. Small menu, the Fixinsâ (hush puppies, Cole slaw, and navy bean soup) are on the table when you sit down. The fried catfish is spot on, with a couple other choices of fried shrimp or chicken. The sides are just like Grandma makes them, fried green tomatoes, fried okra, potatoes. Call for reservation because it can fill up quickly, and closed on Monday.
Typically State Park restaurants are expensive and mediocre. Not this one. We were greeted by a tired hostess who we joked with and made her smile. She then pulled a table from the middle room area out so that we could be by the window. Another nice lady saw we were waiting for our drinks and brought them right over. We only had the soup and salad bar that evening. It was just what we had hoped for. Everything was fresh and good.

DUE TO A FIRE OUR MAIN RESTAURANT IS CLOSED. We do have outdoor dining options available serving a 1" or 2" Pork Chop with two sides, Don's Chicken, Hamburgers and several other options. Open Daily 11am-8pm Our Settlement shops are open and we are selling
We went to pattis because of reviews. It was rainy so not that enjoyable. The hamburger was like frozen patties. You order at food coach and sit in tent. I never went before fire, sounds like it was great. I would wait to go back when they open, looks like it will be a while Thank you for Visiting. The fire was heartbreaking and we decided to Remain open so our wonderful employees would be able to stay with us and not lose their job. The opening of the food trailer and the heatrd tent. to dine ihas been an amazing success for us this summer as we struggle through the hardest year weâve ever had. We look forward to our future and know that our faithful customers that have enjoyed us being open this summer will continue to make memories with us at the settlement

If you like a good salad bar, you won't be disappointed! All the veggies plus several prepared salads as well. And if you get the hot bar, you'd better hope they have their homemade mashed potatoes on it, because you won't find any like them anywhere else! And if you're a fan of bison (or even if you're not), you won't want to miss the bison chili. If you want the hot bar, don't arrive before 5 p.m. Otherwise menu and and salad bar are available.

Brittany was our waitress. Sat at counter. Food was served quickly. Usual, solid quality breakfast you get at Waffle House. Easy access off on interstate. Unfortunately, getting back on was a bit of a hassle due to construction.

I live in Kansas City and through work am lucky enough to travel throughout the US. I have a lot of customers in Texas, Memphis and throughout the southwest. I also have an office in the Carolina's, so I get plenty of opportunities to eat great BBQ. THE BRISKET AT J-MACK WOULD STAND UP ANYWHERE. Literally among the best I've ever had.The folks working there were super friendly, and believe they said that the young man (had just turned 5) was the owner's son (grandson?). Very first class people. My only suggestion would be to upgrade your side items. My beans were fine, but seems like a distant afterthought compared to the brisket. The seasoned chips were too salty. Still an excellent experience though. My coworker said the ribs were awesome too.If you are going to be driving by, you will do yourself a disservice by not stopping. I've got a new customer in the area and will definitely be back!

We stopped to eat dinner on Friday after Thanksgiving and they consider this as Thanksgiving and have a very limited menu for dinner. The menu is mostly breakfast with 6 dinner options which are none that I eat when I am here. No postings on door to inform customers of this fact.
