Our restaurant has something for everyone, because we serve such a variety of guest from everyday locals to the travelers. Basic eggs n bacon to a eggs Benedict from burgers to Prime Stacks and homemade soup , fresh seafood's to everyday fresh Prime Rib. O
Stopped in for a break from our long drive back from our annual Northern Michigan winter vacation. First time here but we liked the setting on the lake with the newly fallen snow. Our server was friendly and didnât mind that we were only having a light snack. Outdoor patio dining in warmer months would be wonderful but today at 12F and well over a foot of snow is not the day but we enjoyed the warmth, the view, and the local wine nonetheless. Will stop again next time through.

We had dinner there on August 13. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. I had Prime Rib. I must admit that it did not taste like the Prime Rib I am used to; more like a well seasoned steak, however, it was very good

Open 6am daily. We proudly can say we have been voted best breakfast in town! And the best ribs too!!! More than just a restaurant we have a unique gift shop and lots of wines and more!
This place rocked!!! Had the BOB fish fillet sandwinch, it was VERY fillingand VERY DELICOUS!! The grilled Italian bun had a great taste, VERY large fillet.I added the fry's and they were very tasty. They painted mural type scene's on the walls so added a nice touch. My wife had the two piece ckiken tenders and fries off the kids menu and was plenty for her, big pcs of chicken. Had no room for dessert but did it ever look good, could have gottensome to go and should have. Very nice wait staff, very friendly!

We stopped here for dinner and saw the nice outdoor eating area facing the lake. They told us that it would likely be an hour wait, so we ate inside. Appetizer (spinach artichoke dip) was delicious. Warm bread was delicious as well. Our dinner came out over an hour after we got there. Prime rib and steak got good reviews at our table. Spinach chicken salad was just okay.

Remembering our mouthwatering experience with Mr. Foise's in the spring, we made a point of stopping at lunchtime this summer. This eat-in or take-out place is cheerily decorated and has pretty flower plantings around outdoor dining equipment also. We shared a fantastic traditional (beef and root veggies, mainly potato) Cornish style pastry and a perfectly baked slice of blackberry/peach pie. This is a nice place with friendly folks cooking and waiting for on a steady stream of customers. We enjoyed noting they do a daily drawing to award free food to a lucky campsite in the adjacent state park.

Let's see. Good home made food. Low prices. Friendly service. Small town atmosphere. Senic spot on the lake shore. A dock for boaters. Ice cream counter. Only a mile or two from the heart of town. Had a rueben and home made chicken dumpling soup. Good lunch. Brreakfast and lunch only.

Who we are? This community wide effort became a reality when the Depot opened in June of 2013. Of course it took the board of directors six years of hard work before that to get the ball rolling. Today the After 26 Project, a tax exempt 501(c)(3) corporat
Our breakfast was very good, the location was in an old train depot, very cute. Our server, didn't catch her name, was excellent. Our food came out pretty quickly too. Prices were fair. Coffee was good! Bacon wasn't great but everything else was very good. We were just passing through, glad we found this cute cafe for a great breakfast and start to our day. Location and decor very nice. We would recommend and we would return if we were ever in the area again.

The atmosphere here is very cabin woodsy having a neighborhood party. Somehow it all works and makes a pleasant eating environment.I ordered the Cadillac of Steaks (tenderloin) with bourbon sauce with fries and a side salad. The steak was good, but nothing I'd order again. The Bourbon sauce was not my favorite bourbon sauce. Not terrible, just not right somehow. The fries were very good, they were like a Potato wedge cut skinny. The side salad was nothing fancy, but good. The person I was with ordered the Lumberjack Sandwich, basically a roast beef sandwich, it came on a huge bun. It was stated to be very good, however the bun was not substantial enough and fell apart under the beefs juices. The bread was good tasting though. The service was very good.Overall a 4 star review. Would I return? Yes. I'd just get a regular steak next time.

....youâre not going to find one anywhere. Excellent selection of beer. Staff very patiently explained the nuances of different flavors, then brought me a few different samples. I was very pleased with my choice. Oh yea, the food. Shouldnât be an afterthought because it was very good. Custom pizza was excellent. I had the chicken Florentine flatbread. We enjoyed both and had leftovers besides.

The Blue Heron serves an excellent breakfast and lunch in large proportions; they are not open for dinner. Food is always fresh and unique. Daily lunches include a choice of 2 homemade soups w/complimentary homemade sourdough bread and a variety of sandwi
We were traveling through Cadillac and stopped at Blue Heron for lunch. Conveniently located with easy street parking, the restaurant was a mix of neighborhood bakery and locally farmed and crafted cuisine. Salads, sandwiches, and soups were accompanied by homemade breads. Coffee was fairtrade, deeply delicious, and frequently refilled. We have a manual wheelchair and were easily accommodated. Just perfect. Thank you.
